Unless i have missed it, but has there been any announcements of pre season games?3 or 4 weeks to go until start of the season and nothing. Even with these potential games being played behind closed doors you would think the club would be open with this information?
they only tell you what they want you to know, one of the players said last week they were going to play a couple of friendlies this or next week, but like everything that goes on it is all hush hush, they don’t keep supporters interested in a normal summer never mind one like this one, you see plenty of pictures of players training and nothing else unless they are selling something.
You’re absolutely right Mick. I was thinking about this just the other day when I looked at the OWS.
12th Man packages, replica shirts, face masks. A scattering of pictures/videos of training and the squad numbers list. No “news” of any substance. No wonder journos like Charlie Wilson second guess at possible developments much to the annoyance of the chairman.

I think they are keeping these games quiet as they don’t want to supporters turning up, also I would think if there is any planned they will be against localise league clubs not semi professional clubs like Barton, brigg, winterton as these clubs are not testing weekly for Covid 19.

I wouldn’t call thinking defenders are possibly injured due to not featuring a conspiracy theory. As you say though Northumb, maybe he wanted to look more at the midfield.
It could even be the fact he’s looking to field a totally different team in another friendly we have organised in the coming days.
Shame we have to guess on that front due to there not being any bloody information about upcoming friendly matches.
Also that young Collins in goal looked terrible going by the clips of today’s game. Cox needs to work his magic and talk Swann around into getting one ASAP.

He needs loaning out or kept in u23’s….he’s no where near being even classed as a viable back up option !
