Yes the great man not too impressed with our current leading scorers attitude or application ( again ) today, let’s hope Elliot gets the nod on Tuesday. McAlinden sounded alright and his versatility on the pitch should be a big asset in the final games of the season. Would start Pugh and Elliot on Tuesday for Whitehall and Butterfield just to put more energy in midfield and up front and maybe bring the young loan winger on earlier if things aren’t working out. An away point is always welcome, let’s hope it’s three at South Shields.
February 17, 2024 at 4:21 pm #281236Not testing keepers enough to get 3 points. Due an OG?
February 17, 2024 at 7:53 pm #281251Whitehall got f all service today, playing triangles in the corner going across feild doing the same at the other side and then fail to get the ball in the box, Elliot did come on Ironawe but you hardly noticed the new guy had 2 glorious chances and fluffed his lines, played beter today but not that hard after last Saturday, Scarborough were shite and thought they’d won the cup at the end, must be the best side in the country for possession and one of the worst for doing something with it. Anyway we don’t want to hit form yet let’s leave it to the business end of the season we can but hope, seen nothing to fear but ourselves.
Ps yummy looked shite. And Clunan must be dropped more deadly for the opposition than of late for us.February 17, 2024 at 8:12 pm #281256Wow your love affair with Mr can’t be arsed is stronger than I thought, anyway I was just going by our former professional strikers opinion on Whitehall today, I’ll take his opinion over yours anytime thanks. I’ll leave you to your hero, keep on brown nosing.
February 17, 2024 at 8:36 pm #281258Your the one who continually singles Whitehall out. When you can explain what Elliot brings to the party then maybe I will, id love him to be the man but I’m afraid this season up to now he hasn’t been what as he shown you that he deserves his place over Whitehall, can imagine you as one of those who thought Toney was shite for us.
And as for a point away from home is always welcome bollocks it really isn’t pop along and see for yourself.
Thank f it wasn’t Whitehall who fluffed them chances the new lad had you’d have wanted him stringing up (thought the new lad had a decent game overall though)February 17, 2024 at 8:36 pm #281259To be fair I thought Scarborough probably deserved a point. They looked pretty solid defensively. Especially considering their skipper and centre-back was suspended today. Gooda was outstanding. Was expecting more threat from them upfront though, but they didn’t really trouble us. Frank Mulhern spent the whole afternoon falling over or diving on the floor. Embarrassing. Why they didn’t start with Rutledge up front was a mystery as he’s been banging in goals since he signed for them.
Basically the defences dominated the game today.
Not a bad little stadium considering their club was only founded a few years ago but not a patch on their old “stadium of chips”. Really don’t understand why they demolished it and built an inferior stadium.
Btw Who was the clown that let off the flare?
February 17, 2024 at 9:07 pm #281263Playing Awaywego at his own shithousery and winning, how marvelous.
February 17, 2024 at 9:08 pm #281264The clown with the flare was probably the usual suspects grandson.
February 17, 2024 at 9:15 pm #281267Whitehall looks like he can’t really be bothered. I wonder if his agent has been in his ear about clubs interested in him or he’s been told he’ll have to take a pay cut this season so feels less inclined to give a shit ?#
Whatever’s going on he needs benching.

Who are you referring to please iron awe?
February 18, 2024 at 10:26 am #281279I am assuming IA is poking a jibe at Awaywego by suggesting a trouble maker at the game was his grandson.

Even when doing well, I don’t recall Whitehall having a good all round game from the games I watched. Now the midfield has been stifled, his weaknesses could have been exposed.

February 18, 2024 at 10:41 am #281281Considering it was a newly finished away end it was shite 4 steps, with an elevation of about 1ft 6ins high more like one long bus shelter for a new ground it was poor.
February 18, 2024 at 10:52 am #281282And jobsworths son Siderite, would be best for Ironawe to stick with poking fun at me and not my grandsons by the looks of things.
February 18, 2024 at 11:51 am #281284Anyone else remember the Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong classic Gone Fishing? Mr Shithousery choking on his own rage here, another classic.
