A good start is a must to build confidence, looking at the first eleven fixtures I can see us picking up a reasonable amount of points.so I’m going for. P. 11. W 5. D 3. L3. 18points maybe a big ask. Hillbuilds team now and they need to start performing,.There must be a lot of teams in the division running on small budgets and struggling to source players.,not just us.

Nine points, two wins, three draws and five defeats, a lot harder than we think this division.

    Best
    1, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 3

    Worst
    0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1

Somewhere between 3 and 17 points.
    I’ll take the mid point.
    So, ten points.

obviously hoping for the best start possible .. alas without a strike force to speak of im thinking circa 10 to 12 points after 11 will be where we are at… hovering just in that nasty spot too close to the relegation zone

An omen or not .. log into the FLASHSCORE website and go to the National league section and there is the table already listed without a game being played yet and Scunny sit proudly on the top .. take a screen shot it may not happen again for a long time.

Hillbuilds team now and they need to start performing,

Why do you keep adding extra letters to Hill’s name?

Hill went into a rebuilding process towards the end of last season, also there is a local building firm ,hillbuilders, which offer refurbs and restorations ,so just a play on words .nothing sinister and I have no connection with the company .just me highlighting his rebuilding process after giving up on keeping us in the league

I used to take diesel and gas oil to Hill Builders down Fox Street many moons ago, don’t know if there’s a connection there.

Used to be a shitty little yard getting in and out with a 6 wheeler tanker but having a rear steer axle helped. The lads were always up for a laugh, most builders yard staff are ok to deliver to in my experience.

4 wins & 3 draws from the next 7 games and you’ll have nailed it!

    I thought a win v Yeovil.
    Win v Maidstone
    Lose v Woking
Draw Solihull so four points down on prediction,
Not sure hillbuild has done his homework on these teams, unfortunately he is a tactical dinosaur

Points total after the first two months……… NOT ENOUGH as we are in the relegation zone and with a nasty run of tricky fixtures its not looking too good at the moment , re checking the fixture list and its nasty all the way through til next April.

Sounds bad, ‘non-league’ but it’s not the same standard of yore in reality and we know a fair few teams could beat or give L2 teams a good game. The attached stigma and ‘non league’ tag is always gonna itch though. Get scratching!

    So, ten points.

After five games we are 4 points behind my ‘best’ predictions (7 points) but 2 points in front of my ‘worst’ predictions (1 point).

At more or less the half way stage in this mini ‘prediction league’, I’m a couple of points behind what would be the ‘mid point total’ of 5 points – 5 of 10 points from the 11 games.

Are we doing better or worse than you hoped / feared / predicted ?

Worse, was expecting ten points by now. Got experienced players now and hills tactics have even got them bamboozled . He has to go and a more motivated manager needed

3 points from a potential 21 so far.

We are already just over 1/7th the way through the season.

The OP enquired as to our thoughts on points accrued after the first 11 games.

11 games will mean we’ve completed nearly a 1/4 of the season!

12 games and we’ve passed the 1/4 point!

We need to turn this around now!

Which players are ‘bothered’, which ones are only there to pick up their money, which players actually give a damn about the club, which players are too old, too slow, too weak?

    Pride, Passion, Performance = Points.

    Let’s kick start our season!

    Regeneration!

Players don’t seem too bothered about not picking a win bonus up,maybe that carrot is not there. Last player to show some passion I’ll go for Bishop,.

Which players think they are “too good” for NL and therefore don’t have to try very hard as their superior class will get them through.
