We’ve just listened to the podcast with Max Bell and others. Then again Hilton is making everything about ILKESTON, inviting the panel over to ILKESTON. We are Scunthorpe United FC not ILKESTON. Hiltons main agenda seems to be promoting his previous club and not ours. I think Max Bell is correct in saying he will split the fan base if he moves the training and running of our beloved Club to Ilkeston and I am of the opinion this was all set up to happen before he took over here.
Why invite the panel to look around the facilities at Ilkeston and why could he not have attended the podcast at SUFC. Ilkeston facilities will not make a blind bit of difference to how we will play on a matchday, in fact it will in my opinion disassociate our Club from our town and supporters. I wish we had gone down the route of a Scunthorpe United phoenix club owned by Simon and Ian, staunch fans who have our Club at heart, not another property developer.
yes i thought the same NLI .. i posted the podcast on another thread on here ealier, Max Bell hits the nail on the head re the reasoning behind the training plan and its consequences locally.

Divide & conquer!

This snowball will continue to gain mass.
I hope Mr E & Mr S already have a Phoenix contingency plan drafted.
I’d rather watch New Scunthorpe United playing in the NCEL than travel 70 miles to watch Ilkeston Iron play in EFL L1
