Clunan.
From memory (not necessarily the most reliable) he passed forward 4 times and found an opponent with 3 of them. His sideways and backwards are largely faultless. His pointing immaculate. His 1 shot is best forgotten.

To be completely fair, I do remember one really good (forwardish) pass last night.
In my opinion he has played well in our last two home games and also think he is a good captain. Now our full backs are getting forward much more I think it benefits the whole team.

Can’t see that his captaincy has any effect whatsoever – I’ve never seen a single player paying him any notice at all when he’s nodding and pointing (and then pointing some more).
Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not having an effect. Not his greatest fan but the level of Clunan bashing online is very undeserved in my opinion. Perhaps it’s more to do with some supporters not reading the game very well? Just a thought.
The Hans Christian Anderson defence,
Seen comments saying he’s the worst captain in years..
Not a chance!
He gets involved, talks to his teammates and the officials something that previous captains didn’t do.
McArdle was a prime example and recently Boyce.
Fair points. It’s as if pointing and shouting to team mates suddenly isn’t a prerequisite for the role of Captain.
The full backs push on well, but opponents appear to be able to get their crosses in consistently, which is a full backs job to stop
