A cheaper version of Matheson probably. According to a certain website he’s on £200 pw so he fits the bill perfectly. Team for NLN taking shape.
July 2, 2022 at 5:57 pm #239872Only on trial Ironking and Cassidaystash not permanently
July 2, 2022 at 6:16 pm #239873I know that mick, all I’m saying is he’s under 20, cheap and has been at Rochdale. What more does Hill want? Personally I don’t see the point of even giving trials to the type of player we don’t need.

Some of our worst signings ever have been ‘experienced’.

Feeney – 514 appsAll played today, vastly more experienced than towards end of last season already. Yes we need more obviously but as the squad needs a rebuild its not going to be instantaneous.

July 2, 2022 at 6:59 pm #239880We were told by LT that not all will be signed – two or three, apparently.
But, all the same, thank you for attempting a logical argument.1 user thanked author for this post.

Some of our worst signings ever have been ‘experienced’.It suits your argument to forget experienced signings like Torpey, Beagrie, Mussy, Crozzer, Barra. Gilks et al and focus on Iwelumo, Ormondroyd, Horsfield, Johnson and the others.

Your argument, not mine, was about experienced signings being poor, I gave some examples to illustrate otherwise. What do the names you mention have to do with that?

July 2, 2022 at 9:41 pm #239901Monty Don been round again UTi-99. Where are the goals coming from?
No one to score and no one to create. With a clueless git in charge, who shares your famous gardener.

Thick as…

I may well be thick, but you constantly prove to be thicker.

overall Ironking I doubt if our squad averaged over 23 in age.

July 3, 2022 at 12:08 pm #239923As I was reading UTI99’s last post, an advertisement appeared below it.
It was for something called “The Great British Ground Screw”.
Was this a bizarre coincidence, or a very real portent of what is happening at the SVS?
Or is my morning coffee too strong?
July 3, 2022 at 12:26 pm #239928Depends what you put in your morning coffee NI but that was perhaps strangely prophetic.

Please bore off. Your argument is invalid when all of those players were already fully fledged professionals with Football League experience before we signed them (with the exception of Keogh).

Hardly the rookie some like to make out he is.July 3, 2022 at 7:43 pm #239938Neither does he have the experience we need in that vital position. Just an opinion of course.

July 3, 2022 at 8:49 pm #239941How can we complain about the players coming in when Swanns budget is crap
July 3, 2022 at 10:02 pm #239945Size of budget is down to how many season ticket holders the club has before the season starts, according to you know who. You see the owner and his sycophants have covered all the bases putting the blame firmly at the doors of the supporters. Narcissistic people are never wrong and never take the blame, was it ever thus.
