A different approach from me tonight, I’m going with a 1-5 scoring system as listed below:

    (1)Absolutely awful
    (2)Just not good enough
    (3)Possibly worth sticking with
    (4)Shows promise, could be decent
    (5)Good player

    Watson 4
    Lewis 3
    Delaney 4
    Onarise 4
    Millen 1
    Grant 5
    Feeney 4
    Sinclair 4
    Beestin 3
    Nuttall 3
    Pyke 4

    Subs:
    Hallam 1
    Pugh 4
    Bunn 3

    Manager…… 3!!
    Massively disappointed today!
    BIG build up
Emphasis on fans to come along
CRAP display in front of goal yet again!!
This situation turns on hill pretty soon, we all know the architect of our demise but he’s had a really easy honeymoon period and we’ve all been patient!!
Time to sort this S**T out Keith!!

Can’t disagree with any of those scores based on what I endured today. What brassed me off more than anything though was the total lack of energy, urgency, pressure, desire, call it what you will but we just didn’t seem to care about the game or the outcome.

Lost count of the number of heading duels lost, first balls (let alone seconds) missed, and repeated aimless hoofs upfront for McGahey and Piergianni to return with ease; they’ll certainly never have an easier afternoon that’s for sure.

Team spirit and desire to win were pretty much like our Chairman ……… in absentia !

I’m going to be controversial and; whilst I agree with nearly all, I don’t believe Beestin is any good, long covid or not his distribution is awful, he rarely gets up to speed with the game and loses possession far too easily – counted over a dozen times he’s lost the ball leading to counter attacks – all this before he had COVID. Another dud I’m afraid although not quite in the league as Hallam – the state of this club is summed up by the fact we offered him a 2 yr deal! And he calls himself a businessman!

The 2 yr Hallam deal summed up the reasons for the mess.

Hold on, if Beestin is ill he shouldn’t be on the bench, let alone in the first eleven. What are they thinking?

I appreciate that watching about seven minutes of the match highlights is not a very good reason for a comment, but Rory Watson has been our MOM for many games this season, but yesterday he never came off his line to cut out some of Oldhams many crosses, was that how attending supporters saw it?

So what you are saying SharpShooter is that of yesterdays starting eleven, only one of them was not good enough, because only one player received below a 3 rating, Oldham appeaered to dominate the game, and Scunny never seemed to want to get up the field, the truth is that the complete team are not good enough, and one win in 17 matches surely backs that up.

Completely disagree as that’s absolutely ridiculous. 8 new players have come in with a number of them only playing one game.

We struggled big time during the 2nd half due to the unfit players who had received next to know playing time before coming here were all found wanting.

    Pretty understandable.

No doubt this team is better than the one before and to put these in the same bracket as the last lot this early on when they haven’t even got their match fitness is extremely unfair in my opinion.

That’s what happens BS when you comment on highlights instead of being there, you can’t be objective, Rory came off his line and caught a few crosses plus WG is spot on, the second half lack of fitness in the new players was apparent to all those attending and who understand the game. The new players will be ok but we are probably short of games left now for them to make a dramatic turnaround in our season but that is down to you know who. You don’t need seven minutes of highlights to agree with my last point I believe.

So if we had eight new players most of whome are not match fit, why the hell put all of them in the team on Saturday, we are all saying that our original players are now a lot fitter than they were a few weeks ago, so why not include more of them in the starting team, you cannot have it all ways.

And the slight that I should have been there, just a polite note, trhat I have only missed one game in 13 years, apart from the Covid 2020 season when no access was allowed, and this season where 2,000 regular supporters cannot see any reason to attend and watch the rubbish that has been servered up, and under Cox, that was never going to change, are any of you guys that are saying I should have been there, 81 years of age?, I doubt it, and I did point out that I was commenting after only seeing about seven minutes of highlights, which suggested that my comments were actually no way as sound as fans that attended. I hope to attend when the weather picks up a bit, possibly end of next month time, but at this moment of time, I hope things improve a lot, and you actually see a Scunny goal scored, they will never get a better chance than Walsall tomorrow. UTI.

….and your points raised regarding you only watching seven minutes of highlights were addressed and corrected by people who were there so you don’t need to remind the forum again about your previous attendance record over the years and your age, we know all this as you repeat it ad nauseam. One thing doesn’t change over the years your tendency to not read or absorb posts that are intended to inform and even possibly educate you on about what actually went on during a game you failed to attend for whatever reason, commented falsely on and made inaccurate comments on as a result. You can’t have it both ways, if you don’t attend and don’t watch on I-follow then shut up about things you couldn’t possibly know about.

It is a difficult call BS. Do you pick players that can run about a lot but not create anything or do you play players that might be able to do something but are not yet fit?

Also if you don’t play the guys that are not yet match fit there is not much chance of them achieving match fitness.

Hill is between a rock and a hard place. Personally I would go again with the new boys for 60 minutes and hope we can score without giving away our usual set peice goal and then send on Bunn, Rowe and Pugh to try and hang on.

Of course that plan goes to shit if we concede or dont manage to score in the first hour.

What has happened to the new lad that scored twice on his debut? Burns?
    Injured?
As he didn’t even make the bench.

And yes, I don’t interact with the ows.

Iron-awe—–I take your point mate, but I did say at the beginning that I could only comment on the seven minutes of highlights, and it wasn’t on i-follower, but listening to Lee Turnbull summary of the match, probably seven minutes was more than enough to cover the whole game.
I did also say that you being present at the game, would know more than anyone else, but you already know that reading your comments, anyway it is on i-follower tonight so I may give my views on the game, and as you say, your opinion will obviously be more accurate, so enjoy it and hope we see a goal or two.
