Well it should be good reading the views of our supporters after todays inept pathetic performance.
After todays match, the last three first team HOME GAME results are:-
V mn City 21s 0-4
v F Green 1-4
Cambridge 0-5So really should we say much more ??
WATSO—3—He is getting worse each game, not good enough once again
BEDEAU–5–Not one of his better games, but kept trying
ONARIASE–7–Only one player that played ok.kept the score down to 5-0
SPENCE—5–Did his bit
CORDNER–6–Played ok but it is difficult wirth the ball always in your half
TAYLOR–4–Never in the game
HIPPOLYTE–3–So very poor, one good thing, his red card means he cannot be selected
McATEE–4–A very poor game from hom, he can play a lot better
GILLIEAD–6–Is not a leader, tried his best, but not involved enough
LOFT–3–No service, no effort and makes me say bring back Novak
JARVICE–6–Ran his legs off, but by himself up frontEISA–5–One very good run, but should be in starting line up
VINCENT–4–Does not bring much to the teamRREF–9–Once again a very good ref.
MANAGER–3—The more I see of Cox’s team selections, tactics and set up’s make me thimk when will be be sacked, our last three home games read played three, lost three goals scored 1 goals against 13, is this going to be “unlucky for some”
I have alway backed Swann, but he is sending our once proud team into non league football.
FOOTNOTE—–CAardboard cut outs in the Cluggy Stand, maybe better to have some on the pitch instead of players.
October 17, 2020 at 5:50 pm #195973Watson -2- not good enough and never will be. It’s obvious and has been for a long time.
Onarise -7- looks like a competent defender. Give it 2 weeks before he’s infected.
Bedeau -2- shit but one of the few who looks like he’s bothered.
Cordner -2- never managed to get a clearance out of the box.
Gillead -5- another who cares and tries. Won’t care for much longer and will be on his way in Jan. Can’t see why he would stay here and ruin his career.
Hippolyte -0- said enough about him in the match day thread
Spence -5- effort again but on his own in a midfield 3
Taylor -3- not in it. Can’t imagine he’ll stick around king either. Will be “injured” and back at Forrest before Christmas
McAtee -0- again see the match day thread
Loft -2- ineffective and uninterested
Jarvis -5- effort. Brilliant touch to create a chance at 0-0 but poor finish
As I said in the match day thread I gave up after 70 mins so scores are based on what I saw
October 17, 2020 at 6:07 pm #195978Agree with your two for the GK, DSGM, three marks off for a goal like that. 5 – 3 = 2.
Would give 6 to Spence, Jarvis and Gilliead – otherwise, spot on!October 17, 2020 at 7:01 pm #195982Watson- 2 needs to hang up his gloves, not a goalkeeper
Bedeau 4 getting gradually worse
Cordener 3 all over the place positionally, not going to make it as a footballer
Onaraise 7 did well whilst all around went missing, for a CB to get 7 in a 5-0 defeat says something
Spence 4 nothing to say about him, just jogging around doing little
Gillead 5 added little
Taylor 5 won’t be around long – getting absolutely ruined by this club
Hippolyte 0 I have never seen a worst performance by a professional footballer, including that fella Souness signed who wasn’t a footballer. Don’t bother coming back after the suspension
McAtee 2 I don’t know what move he thinks he will get playing like that. Another embarrassment
Loft 2 Just shit really
Jarvis 5 isolated one nice touch not his faultCox 4 not his fault but listening to the RH interview seems like he cannot do anything with this bunch and the fact he is starting out himself makes it worse.
Swann – should be nowhere near football
October 17, 2020 at 7:42 pm #195986Watson 2 terrible today
Bedeau 3 two poor games on the trot
Oronaise 6 best of a poor defence
Cordnor 5 another poor performance after looking decent iin early games
Hippolyte 2 for turning up, not at the races
Gilliead 5 started brightly
McAtee 4 worst game I have seen him plauy
Taylor 3 soon got as bad as everyone else
Loft 3 did little
Jarvis 3 had the best chanceRef 6 didn’t give us a deal, but seen far worse
Cox 3 starting to feel sorry for him, but needs to start playing his best players
October 17, 2020 at 8:23 pm #195997Cox 3 starting to feel sorry for him, but needs to start playing his best players
Cox commented on Hullberside interview he had selected the best available players.
It seems once again too many key players are on the treatment table, again, the club must have one of the worst injury records ever.
You also have to ask what all our coaches/ specialists actually do because it’s not working – goalkeeping coach judging by our GK the coach is just not been effective.
October 17, 2020 at 8:31 pm #196001Spence 5 not his best game
I missed him off and no edit
October 17, 2020 at 11:19 pm #196015Well every single person is giving the same marks, I gave Watson a 3 because he did get his keepers shirt on the right way, Hippopyle got 3 marks instead of 1, because he now gets suspended and even Cox will have to leave him out of what he calls his best available players.
There is no hope for the present squad and management team, they total about 40 members, but effort, skill, system and will to give their best is miles away from this disjointed bunch.
Why CANNOT SWANN SEE WHAT ALL SUPPORTERS ARE SEEING ????????????????????????????????????????????
October 18, 2020 at 12:19 am #196017HIPPOLYTE–3–So very poor, one good thing, his red card means he cannot be selected
Don’t get too excited. It’ll just be a one match suspension.
He’ll be back on Saturday!
October 18, 2020 at 1:36 am #196021Cox said he picked his best players ?
Rowe was fit. Olomola should have at least been on the bench.
I feel sorry for Cox because he’s having to babysit these shitty players but he’s clueless himself. Hippolyte at LWB and Gillead at RWB ?
Cox signed Hippolyte, which begs the question…..has he signed the right player or not ?. Cox said he impressed him when watching him as assistant for Notts County….can’t have been him surely ?
I’m being serious when I say this now….he’s one of the worst players I’ve seen in a long time. Taylor isn’t a CM midfield player either, you can see why he’s more suited to playing further up.
Stick Rowe in at RB. Butroid LB and go 4/4/2. Eisa and Gillead are our only hope of scoring a goal so least play them where they’re supposed to be played.
Loft is dogshit. A complete donkey. Jarvis looks half decent, I’d stick him upfront with Turan until Olomola is fit.
Besides 3 or maybe 4 players who gave it a go, they we’re a disgrace. McAttee needs moving on, I think he’s already gone in his own head anyway.
October 18, 2020 at 11:58 am #196040Cox signed Hippolyte, which begs the question…..has he signed the right player or not?
Mistaken order. Cox asked for a load of hippo shite to put on his garden.
Re: McAttee wasn’t he one of Hurst’s Shrews? Probably told him come to Scunthorpe, show what you can do and you’ll get a move to a bit club.
His commitment seemingly left with Hurst!
