Well thats another three points from a home game out of the window, although Bolton were the far better team on the night, Scunthorpe played into their hands, and the longer Cox is in charge with his team selections and playing systems, we will comntinue to hold down a relegation place, he is really clueless.

HOWARD—6—His kicking is really poor, and had nothing to do really.
McGAHEY–8–Again strong in defence, but he always is.
ORANIASE—7—Another good game and is automatic choise.
BEESTIN—7—Worked his socks off but had to go off knackered.
BEDEAUE—6—Did ok, but caught out a few times trying ti dribble out of defence.
GILLIEAD—9—MOM by far, head and shoulders above our other players.
SPENCE—6—Probably played too many games, Not so influencial tonight,
BROWN–5—Too drensive, and sick of his continual back passing.
GREEN—7—He played ok tonight, but is really no threat up front.
LOFT–4—Very poor, and was not really involved up front.

    SUBS–
McATEE—7—two cracking runs, but should be starting matches.
HIPPOLYTE—3—No football brain what so ever, losing 0-1 and every ball he played was 20 yards backwards, what the hell does Cox see in him????
OLOMOLA—3—Waste of space, injured again, is a sick note.

REF—8—Has a good game, mostly kept a poor game going, no co,mplaints.

COX—3—Rowe had a good game on Sayurday, so is on the bench tonight, our only attacking mid-field player is moved to right back, and once again, 95 mins, two shots and ONE ON TARGET, how the hell can we win games with ONE SHOT ON TARGET playing a home match. Last game we played ok and with 4-5-2 set up, so tonight he changed everything, its past time to get rid of this clown whilst there is still time for a replacement.

    I fforgot
EISA—5—Continually cuts inside of the full back and never tries to go round the outside, thus he is sussed out during the first ten mins, Eisa can be a cracking player that can win matches, why the hell isn’t the manager and coaches seeing this??? I had better not answer that question,

Howard 6 Distribution needs work and should be more aggressive when crosses come in
Brown 5 looked tired and off it
Bedeau 4 poor game, far too loose in possession
    Onariase 7 solid again
McGahey 7 as above – beggars belief we don’t play a back 4
Gillead 8 when he got further forward always found space and made some wonderful passes but got pushed to RB too often purely because of stupid formation
Beestin 5 looked tired and weak in possession
Spence 5 few sloppy passes in midfield, over run completely. Had chance to set up Olomola but chose to shoot – which was nearer the corner flag than the goal
Eisa 5 tried hard against experienced full back but seemed to be unsure about role in first half
Green 7 thought he dis well and used his pace with effect
Loft 5 still not good enough for league 2 but we are stuck with these group of Swanny shit strikers

Cox 3 Changed a formation that worked well into something that offered no threat and got overran – couldn’t see what a blind man could see in first half.
He needs to up his game more than any other.

    Yup.
A very low rating for Cox.
After testing out and failing with a multitude of formations he goes 4 – 4 – 2 and things start to work. The side has shape.
Along comes a match with, arguably, the most experienced side we’ve faced – and into experimental mode we go. Doomed from the start.
I concentrate on Spence a great deal and thought he had a decent game.
Our problem in CM was perfectly explained by Newey – there is only so much a midfielder can do when swamped.
(I suggested that we should have made a sub before half time – Newey on for Cox. That guy’s grasp of football is surely the best we’ve ever heard on local broadcasting.)
Beestin looked as though he’d played too many games in quick succession.
    Bedeau was poor.
I cannot criticise Loft. He grafted non-stop. Was useful and if he ever gets a bit of support might just turn into a good player.
Gilliead is far and away our best player. Lovely to watch.

Ref: good. Was not a nitpicker like so many we’ve seen this season.

I agree with Ironawe and les, why change back to a failed formation because we were one player out, 3 centre halves never work for us unless it is late in the game, yet Cox didn’t bring Bedeau on against Morecambe, the other issue is we didn’t really threaten their goal, and though Gilihead had a good game he was wasted at the back and we should have played Rowe, I don’t know whether this is all down to Cox but he is getting some very poor advice.

4-4-2 and everybody is comfortable, understands the system and their job. Last night there were 3 or 4 that didn’t seem to know where they were supposed to be playing and a couple more that knew their job but not how to do it.
If Rowe didn’t play because he needed resting then why did Beestin, Brown and Spence start, all of them looked as if they needed a rest. Not blaming the players for this, the schedule is punishing, but not handled well by the management IMO.

Having support with Loft won’t make much difference…he’s quite literally the worst passer and has one of the worst touches I’ve ever seen.

Interesting stat, apart from goalkeepers he has the worst successful passes percentage in the entire division!
