Do we reckon anything has changed now we know we’re definitely staying in L2?

Allegedly, contracts were offered but when they weren’t signed by a deadline date they were withdrawn. This could explain the mediocre performances by some players in recent games.
I would guess that staying in League 2 hasn’t changed anything.

It might if some had held off signing in case we ended up in the NL. Let’s hope the reported non-communication between the manager and chief scout was a one off and Cox has at least some influence over signings. A bit more quality over quantity should be the way forward although we’ll still be saddled with some players unlikely to make the match day squad. Let’s hope we don’t sign any more!

We will probably keep the ones the supporters are not fussed if they stay or go, but probably the ones we would like to keep will go.

Spot on. I think the ones going will not have changed.

There could have been a different outcome but that would mean someones attitude changing and confirmed yesterday in the post match it hasn’t !

Apparently Bradford City have 18 OOC.

So we could always re-sign Lee Novak!

So 1 game to go. Then it starts and what a rollercoaster we will be on !!

So from the 9th of May we reveal our retained list – that will be entertaining
Then according to Mr Peter Swanns after comments about those contracts that got cancelled, we will have our squad in place before the end of May. So 22 days to go !

Decisions will made regarding season ticket, even whether one will attend again.

Funny how the closed season is now proving more exciting than the actual football!

Such a shame that we’re equally disappointed at the end of both.

Could indicate if I am making a financial saving for the season.

    Bottesford Town could benefit.

That’s gonna be a big thing for a lot of people I reckon.

£10 a go home and away plus cup games Ive spent over £500 this season.

Going to take some persuading for me to do that again since I’ve had very little, if any enjoyment/excitement out of it.

I can think of many better ways to spend my time and money.

I went to Bottesford Town at the start of the season and I reckon I’ll be going there more often next season than Glanford Park.

I started taking my kids when they were 8 or 9. They are now in their 30s, have given up on iplayer and are extremely unlikely to return to GP. Whilst finance is a consideration it’s not the main reason. Unfortunately I can’t help myself.

Same as you Cass – dont think I will stop going. However, will not buy a season ticket this year and if the football is as dire as we have seen on iFollow this year I wont get past October. Not wasting time and money watching utter sh!te while freezing my rocks off.

I saved about £1500 pound or more this season through not watching Scunny. Been planning away days already though I must admit we were planning Wimbledon and Sutton Heho.

Don’t know if this is a coincidence but stranger things…..

Seems Gainsborough Trinity have released ALL their players, Mr Cox has said that some of our new signings will be names we do not know !! So that fits. Having a reduced budget that could also fit.

Recruitment strategy is either to find rough diamonds to polish and make a profit on or recruit in readiness for where we could end up ! Even Mr Cox hasn’t realised the situation – he states “Things can’t get worse ” !! But they can there are 2 places below us, they got relegated so Mr Cox it can get worse.

According to Cox’s latest interview he will be speaking to all out of contract players on Monday, possible offers to replace the previously withdrawn ones? Or just to say thankyou and goodbye??

Will probably depend on what decisions the committee come to over the weekend. Would be nice if Cox had some input wouldn’t it?
