Part time team. Most ex league clubs struggle there. Will be a much harder game than Saturday.

Bloody heck. Let’s not get like the self-declared Man Utd of the conference (a.k.a Grimsby Town) were when they first got relegated. We are down here because we deserve to be and our name means little. We aren’t bound to stroll the league.

BOOOOO. Also a week for the players to further improve. Yes, I’m in an ultra positive mindset with everything Iron at the minute. Let’s not tempt fate with players picking up injuries.

Our squads depth’s shite at the minute in certain positions.

It was a great start but we need more players to sustain it, more importantly we need new owners and the old one gone ASAP, nowt long term will change until SWANN IS GONE.

Yes a real banana akin awaits on Saturday. And we’ll probably be up against the ref too, as Chesterfield were last Saturday. Maidenhead will be well up for it too.

I think all the teams are Full Time, Altrincham were the only team last season and they are Full Time this season.

I did think both Maidenhead and Dorking were part time, Mick, but your information might just be more up to date.

I know it is confusing where you see some clubs are semi pro, so I could be wrong, but read a article a few weeks back about Altrincham going full time and being the last club to do so, but if you look at the internet it says Maidenhead are semi so god knows

Grimsby won their first non-league game, an away win at Crawley who were one of the favourites.
Then the entrance to hell opened. Never take it for granted, the National League is a Frankensteins monster of a division.

According to Phil the assistant chairman of Halifax Town SC most teams are full time but some clubs he calls hybrid, so I presume it means a mixture of full time and semi pros.
So maybe the reason on the report of Altrincham going full time from semi pro.

Very nearly took the Bluebell inn, Carlton in lindrick a few weeks ago. We have The Royal Oak in Tickhill and had The White Swan in Blyth until a couple of months ago if you know any of them.

I might have been in the pub in Blyth, don’t think I have been to pubs in Carlton or Tickhill but if I did its a long while ago.

I alienated all the customers, refused to employ proper staff. I no longer run the place but I own the building.

Well, the bookies (who usually have a very good idea) make Maidenhead clear favourites at 6/5, and 15/8 for an away win. Maidenhead will be up for this one for sure, so nothing less than total commitment from us will do.

Maybe the bookies have spotted we have had one away win in the last season and a half.

That was at fellow basket case club Oldham.

8/5 and 17/10 now! Someone has put a chunk on an Iron win?!
