On a serious note Deerey shall you able to get to the playoff and hopefully playoffs.
Won’t make the semi-final. Off to Rylands to watch Ilkeston. Pat’s doing free bacon butties en route. Thought you’d be joining me?

April 22, 2024 at 8:55 am #284338Oh contraire BLT from my first post I alluded to Scunny playing silly buggers, and on my 3rd post said i expected the tickets to go on sale Sunday/Monday which they have, you saying you’ve bought your tickets already only backs up what i say about the commercial side being utterly useless thanks though son went on and got his already.
As a long time season ticket holder of one year where’s my preferential treatment gone. Thank God it wasn’t for an away playoff with a limited number of tickets.April 22, 2024 at 4:32 pm #284365Was busy this morning with people queuing up outside the ticket office.
Middle blocks of the main stand virtually sold out too.
April 22, 2024 at 7:40 pm #284368Agree re it being different if it were limited seats at an away game…there’d be uproar!

That’s not accurate, the reason all those seats are greyed out is because they belong to season ticket holders, they’ll remain that way until the deadline for season ticket holders to reserve their seats for Saturday’s match, if they don’t they’ll turn green and become available to purchase.
April 22, 2024 at 8:40 pm #284372By we must have a lot more season ticket holders than was thought, less than 300 green spaces available in the main stand then IFA, remember only season ticket holders can buy today.
The club taking the piss out of all season ticket holders. Suppose everyone still believes the club about the contact the club had with the National League I mean you would wouldn’t ya not like they fed us shite about the sale of the tickets have they.April 22, 2024 at 9:08 pm #284373I still don’t know why they would name drop the National League if it was actually some internal policy and risk escalating the situation over something which is cared about by you and few others. Get over it already, it’s not like we’re being led down the path by a con artist with ponzi schemes and stunts over the ground.
April 22, 2024 at 9:09 pm #284374Blimey Awaywego! Has someone down there upset you? At the very worst it looks like some confusion, dithering or mistakes. No need to blow a gasket.

April 22, 2024 at 9:32 pm #284376Actually SNOT is wrong about all the central greyed out seats being season ticket holders, several non season tickets were bought on Sunday online and mine is one of them. Going to be a big crowd I reckon.

That’s not accurate either; a large proportion were available on Sunday until word got round non season ticket holders could buy tickets. Subsequently they are now nearly unavailable.

April 22, 2024 at 10:10 pm #284379I’m guessing Cliff that the season ticket holders seats who have not yet been purchased will remain greyed out till the Tuesday deadline then if not purchased they will become available for general sale and turn green but a lot of non season ticket holders seats in the main stand have already gone, the club want as many as possible in the ground for Saturday so it’s a no brainer many have already been sold, they are a business FFS and one that nearly went bang a few months back, they need all the money they can get as quickly as possible.

Perhaps didn’t make myself clear, the greyed out seats are sold, on Sunday all the greyed out ones were season ticket holders, however the ones in Green were available to book, the season ticket holders seats will remain greyed out until Thursday evening for them to book, if they don’t wish to attend then their seats will be available and will turn Green.
Therefore, although the exec area is looking as if it’s completely sold out, it isn’t and maybe some seats will become available on Thursday evening.April 23, 2024 at 10:30 am #284391Does this sound like someone who was ‘playing silly buggers’ over ticket sales awaywego? Lol.
PS – thank goodness we didn’t have to do this in a 48 hour turnaround!

April 23, 2024 at 10:40 am #284392Yep. They would have been perfectly aware of how many fans they could attract to this game, so the idea they were the ones who had decided on only having the tickets on sale from the 25th seems fanciful. Where is the motivation? It would only drive fans away if it got too chaotic, and the club don’t want that.
April 23, 2024 at 10:47 am #284393Could agree with most of that Ironawe, but why not just say there’s enough tickets to go round from previous experiences, but will reserve your seats till Thursday, instead of telling lies to us.
Leaving Michelle out of the equation the same people are running the same shit show that run the same shit show under Swanny and Hilton and all I have done is highlighted the fact.April 23, 2024 at 11:01 am #284394He’ll not convince me Deerey. But fair play he as you. No apology from him about the big queues caused by them selling to every tom dick or harry, he’s on about the phones but they weren’t picking up and still have not got back to me on the messaging service they put up.
April 23, 2024 at 1:47 pm #284400‘the same people are running the same shit show that run the same shit show under Swanny and Hilton’
Not exactly. Hilton got rid of a lot of staff though some survived and some returned. You ‘highlighted’ all this in a vain attempt to prove your theory but failed spectacularly. That’s how it appears to me anyway.

April 23, 2024 at 1:52 pm #284402I got ours yesterday, I am expecting 7,000 plus on Saturday, plus more if it is Boston. Expect traffic congestion with Motorway & Scotter Road closures. UTWI
