Yes, because no one else has shown interest, no if someone does.

Lets look at his track record with us; gambled the financial security on the club chasing Championship football, fell out with developers, fell out with council, and fell out with the fans.

He promised 3 things; a new ground – didn’t happen, Championship football – didn’t happen, entertaining football – didn’t happen. Instead we got unsustainable debt, mock-up images of ground redevelopment, relegation battles, a squad that would struggle to be competitive in the National League North, and all club assets transferred to Swann’s company.

Lot’s of promises, none fulfilled, so it’s an emphatic NO from me!

Sadly this question is years too late.Swann owns the club and can legally do with it as he pleases.Morally he will be bankrupt if he does nothing and allows it to drift out of the football league. The actions he takes over the next 21 days will prove what sort of person he is.

If his Blackpool venture is on par with his football club, then I won’t be booking a room. It’ll probably be like the hotel in Carry On Abroad!

I’m still at a loss to know exactly why he decided to take out the EFL loan. “Day to day running of the club” was I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) the reason given. Yet 21/24 L2 clubs deemed it unnecessary, including clubs with lower attendances than us.

We were struggling on the pitch to start with. The loan has left us completely screwed.

I’d love Brad and the two Matts (plus Neil) to get him on a podcast and really let him have both barrels (metaphorically speaking). But it won’t happen will it?

I have absolutely no confidence that Swann can keep us in the Football League given his track record.

At least I know the way to Gateshead, Spennymoor Town, Blyth Spartans & Darlington!

    A resounding NO!

Yes, because no one else has shown interest, no if someone does.

    Oh ffs, this again.
    “No-one has shown any interest”.
Out of interest, awaywego, when you are looking for, say, a new car, do you just ask random people to sell you theirs, or do you look at those ADVERTISED AS “FOR SALE”?

Ever thought that maybe buyers interested in owning a footy club might look at those actually for sale? Or whose owners have actually let it be known widely that they are open to offers?

Try and think before posting, there’s a good lad.

I’d be amazed if anyone replied “Yes”. This has been the direction of travel since before Graham Alexander was sacked.

Absolute NO from me. Totally ruined our football club and over 70 years of history. I will never moan about wet Tuesday trips to Colchester away and the like again, because in 4 months time that’s it, we won’t be going back unless they come down. Over 35 years of supporting The Iron as a football league club gone. Thanks for f@@k all Ernest.

At least we have our memories Iron king.

Swann could have gone some way to unify the club and fans by clearing the EFL loan as soon as this window open to show us that he was committed enough to give us every chance of surviving.

After suggesting that’s what he was going to do only 3 weeks ago, he’s gone back on that and not bothered.

Swann also stated he wouldn’t let Loft go without a replacement in and what happens, he’s let go without a direct replacement in.

Clearly can’t be bothered by the looks of it.

Massive no. I think he’s an absolute disgrace.

Even Wilko’s are selling up, that’s a big clue even though he’s not involved anymore, allegedly.

Seen that on the news earlier reporting Wilko stores are to shut in Scunthorpe so the main one in town will be gone as well.

If he simply can’t afford to put any more into the club, I’d rather he told us all that and worked hard to get more investment into the club.

But it fits some posters narrative MK to associate him with Wilko’s. Heard he’s been partying everyday during COVID restrictions as well,Boris says it’s a big fat YES from him.

It’s what happens when you put capitalists in charge of a football club.

They’re only interested in profits. Once the business model ceases to be profitable they bin it and move their attention to another project.

F row crew reminds us of our numerous years of football, fun, laughs, travel, life experiences, good memories and friendships.

Sadly none of the above have been under the tenure of Ernest Pawn.

Had a chance to redeem himself on the back of the shareholder meetings, AGM , sacking of Cox, appointment of Keith Hill, appointment of Simon Elliot and by simply delivering on a promise. Any promise.

Looked like we had turned the corner and were riding a positive wave. Ernest reverted to type more talk more promises and f### all delivery.

    Big NO from me.

You lot really are deluded. Where do you get this idea that all would be rosey under new ownership?

Is it Grimsby sitting midtable in the national league, Newcastle getting knocked out the FA Cup by Cambridge, Bury going out of existence or Oldham being in a worse position than us?

Do you not understand how football works? Especially for clubs the size of SUFC. I keep reading comments about Swann paying off the EFL loan while in the same breath complaining about how the club was ran at a loss!
