December 30, 2020 at 7:05 pm #199954If he had gone any other club I would say good luck to him.
December 30, 2020 at 7:12 pm #199955Much as I hate the cods a good appointment, maybe Eisa and McAtee will follow, may be trying to get there on the cheap the way they’re playing at the moment.
December 30, 2020 at 7:26 pm #199957He’ll get them out trouble.
A lot of the bottom sides picking up form now and I expect the cod’s to follow suit; we desperately need to get wins on board during January or else we will be in trouble.
December 30, 2020 at 7:59 pm #199958Do we think this will free up money for us to bring in some reinforcements? Also it took Hurst a long time to get us firing and if Holloway couldn’t make it work with that squad up the A180 I’m not sure Hurst will. either way we need a big win on Saturday! UTI

Provided he doesn’t get into trouble with the Chairman!
December 31, 2020 at 1:09 am #199964The way Eisa and McAtee are applying themselves, I’d re-introduce the forgotten man Dales and draft Hallam back in from the cold.
Dales would at least do until we find another LW to replace him. Least Dales puts an honest shift in.
McAtee after the other night needs not just moving out, but, booting out…that was diabolical.
I forgot we even had Dales until I read todays reserve match report.
Old Turan didn’t feature…any look Brigg Town might want him. Jessop I think will be involved in some capacity at the weekend as he came off after 60 mins, as did Rowe.
Dales sounded lively and got 80 mins under his belt, scored and hit the post so he’d most certainly be ready to come on if needed.
Green may have to go upfront and that would free a slot up for Dales.
December 31, 2020 at 10:18 am #199966Not sure what IS happening at BP.
Reports on The Fishy say Fenty has agreed to sell, a club statement says a heads of agreement(??) has been reached, but a recent tweet from Fenty seems to nix that?December 31, 2020 at 1:52 pm #199979That McAtee has an attitude – I can accept.
IMHO, I don’t really think it is the same with Eisa.December 31, 2020 at 3:07 pm #199983I agree les, Eisa does show some intent when he plays. McAtee an absolute disgrace, I don’t understand how he thinks his current behaviour and lack of involvement is going to secure him any move, let alone the big one that his agent must have promised. You have to be an exceptional player to get away with a terrible attitude and he’s certainly not that. Shouldn’t take a genius to work that out, can he really be completely unaware of how lucky he is to be a professional footballer.
December 31, 2020 at 3:43 pm #199985Mr Eisa likes the appointment of Messrs Hurst & Doig.
Well if they are such hot properties Grimsby better move fast because the queue must be long !!
December 31, 2020 at 3:48 pm #199987Cassidy, before he came to us he made one, yes ONE appearance at Shrewsbury and has come here and scored 4/5 goals now he thinks he’s destined for the premier league.
I’d take Hallam over him. Eisa at least tries but he’s already gone in his own mind, not taking the care to deliver a simple corner time and time again is just beyond careless.
I’d personally draft Dales in as well. I’d involve Eisa in some compacity but probably not starting.
McAtee needs moving on A.S.A.P. I would leave him out all together…he’s a liability.
We have Hallam and Dales so may as well use them.
It wouldn’t at all surprise me if the pair of them end up at Grimsby.
Question is, would the cods be able to stump up the nominal fee’s we’d want for them ?…wages on top too and in these times money is thin on the ground.
Hurst got a song out of Eisa though so he’d most certainly want to go back there.
December 31, 2020 at 4:16 pm #199990With respect to the esteemed Cods it is hardly a “big” move. From anywhere never mind he SVS.
December 31, 2020 at 4:24 pm #199992Yes I think they’ll be aiming higher than that. Might depend on how much cash the new owners have to splash but doubtful another L2 club will have much appeal for players with the talent they think they have.

It’s McAtee that needs that pointing out, not me!
December 31, 2020 at 8:38 pm #200011Ok grumps. I was merely stating a fact.
January 1, 2021 at 10:28 am #200023As was I – Happy New Year.
