    A difficult one to predict.
    I’m going to guess:
    Oxford City 1-2 Scunthorpe
Our threat is diminished without W’hall.

I’ll go 1-3 and it will be a further improved performance. I fancy Beck to nab one.

Only lost 2-1 at Kings Lynn despite playing 90+ minutes with 10 men.
    Another tough game. (AB 19/02/25)

    Any news on Whitehall?

They’ve only failed to score in 4 league games this season.

Their most frequent score lines are 1-1 & 1-2 which are tied on 5.

They’ve played 10 games against the current top 7 teams:
    P10 W1 D4 L5 Pts 7 [7/30]

    V Top 7 @ Home:
    P4 W0 D2 L2 Pts 2 [2/12]

    V Top 7 @ Away:
    P6 W1 D2 L3 Pts 5 [5/18]

    Goals V Top 7 Teams:
    GF 10 – GA 19

    4 game form table:
    Oxford 2nd bottom on 0pts -7gd
    Scunny 2nd top on 10pts +5gd

Over the season our GD is averaging out at +1 goal per game, their joint most frequent scoreline is 1-2, their ‘average’ scoreline against top 7 teams is 1-2.

Think I’ll stick with my Oxford 1-2 Scunthorpe ‘prediction,

Why did you post the stat about top 7 at home. As soon as I saw zero wins it filled me with dread

Nice to see Rose here for the rest of the season and with Coffee Cup presumably signed on a similar deal at least the right back slot is properly covered at last. I’m going for a 0-2 away win and keep the pressure on Chester.

Unpredictably im going for a Scunny win … 4-0
Dont care who scores though twood be nice to see Ubo Beck Mo or the new fella Wreh to get on the score sheet.
With only Whall out injured and Boyce suspended AB does have a job on his hands selecting his starting 11 n subs, obviously keeper and defense picks its self and no way Clunan and Roberts wont start after that anyones guess.

    Fitz
    Rose Max Evans Denton
    Clunan
    Roberts
    ? ? ? ?

Bru experts …. Who are your 4 to slot in above starting 11

Rowley & Scales certs for MF, Alfie + AN Other (Probably Beck) Leaves an attack minded bench with Mo, Carlton & Wreh on there.

Can’t see past the Whitehall injury unfortunately, think it will totally change dynamic of the team.

I think Roberts will likely float between wide right & central behind a front 2 depending on opponents set up & Butlers views. He’ll probably be off after 60 if we’re in front.

more than disappointing. Our failure to impose and beat poor teams will cost us the title. Same points who ever you beat. Yet we continue with the ‘Rushall mind set’ which started way back against Warrington, Oxford, Radcliffe etc at home. Pressure mounts to have to win the ‘tougher’ fixtures.

    Optimistic with the 1 goal.

The Whitehall is hugely detrimental for us.

Persistence with playing players that just aren’t good enough even if you’ve signed them.

As stated Whitehall is a big miss. And as much as 64 won’t like it Butler will state if we don’t get promoted Whitehall was reason why.

AB: We lost our main striker in final 1/3 of the season.
    The script is written.

    Tough game Tuesday

Maybe, because of the position they’re in, Darlo will come and try to win. That normally helps us. But a tough game for sure.

Chester play at Oxford on Tuesday. How they do will be a good indication of just where we are.

Maybe, but Oxford City played without a forward today. One or both might be back on Tuesday !

Sounded like a real tepid performance against a poor side who offered little going forward only creating one or 2 chances going by OCFC YT highlights. Failure to break down and beat so many of the lower placed teams who set up ultra defensively will cost us the title and auto promotion thus enduring the play offs again.

Simply not good enough .. Chester will visit Oxford Tuesday im guessing they will fair better hope im wrong.

As a footnote enjoyed the HR commentary ..with Lee Turnbull replacing Torps , quite banterous and he actually talked a modicum of sense but still loves the sound of his own voice.
