On course for 36 points

Do we panic yet?
Looking back, 45 points is usually safety, although a couple of teams have dropped with 48 and one with 50.😳

So we are averaging 0.76 points per game so far.😥

Can anyone really, I mean truthfully, see where we can get another 30 points from the remaining 22 games?

Forget Hill, we’d need Harry Houdini.

After the last 2 defeats, including one to one of our relegation-threatened peer group and a 4-0 pasting at Tranmere, then yes Alcy, definitely. Particularly so given the apparent lack of transfer action.

Thing is a fortnight ago I was punching the air and were were on course for 47/50 points.

Today I’m punching the ground and were looking at a 36/39 pt total.

After Oldham we were looking at back to back wins. The reality has been back to back defeats!

Last week we were saying we only need two teams to finish with fewer points. After yesterday’s results that looks increasingly unlikely.

Still twists and turns to come before May, but I reckon there’ll be more snakes than ladders en route.

Unless there is significant benificial additions to the squad I can’t see us getting more than 38 points. Without strengthening why would we suddenly start winning games.
OK Hill has improved performances but there is still a lack of goals.
Going down I’m afraid, which is sad after 50 years watching the iron and introducing my two kids to them with championship football. Just hope that I’m wrong.
The fat ladys alarm went off a while ago, she is now gargling and warming up.
