Crap Ref – missed that handball.
Should have been a penalty.
Refs are even worse at this level.
What are we going to get next season?

After I saw the team I thought it was set for a 4-4-2, sadly not, the same old negative mindset. Still there were improvements from Friday, there was slightly more effort and we did have a shot on target. Dean also changed the shape (too little too late – about 6 weeks too late) and I thought I saw Shrimpton pass forward 3 or 4 times (one even found a teammate) still, enough for him to win MOM, an interesting choice by the match sponsors who were …….

Hi guys. Southend fan here, not here to gloat, could easily have been us last season and could still be next season if our awful owner doesn’t find a buyer. Hate seeing proud league clubs like yourselves and us (plus numerous others) fall into non-league. Its never the fans fault, usually the owners. Obviously you’re now suffering the even more dreaded drop to the NLN. I genuinely hope you can reset and start turning things around. Stockport have proved its possible. I’m sure you’ll be back. Well today after 32 plus years I missed my first league game at Glanford Park, broke down en route and had to get the AA to bring me home, I can’t believe the manager didn’t give the team to go all out to win the game after the reports I have read about the game, now following the path of the last 2 relegations were we went out in a whimper

Enjoyed Carvers square up to Clark near the end, I’d have given him MOTM just for that but unfortunately it was Shrimptons family making the choice. Other than that, utter Dross. Bennett spent more time on the floor than the ball. Bilson wouldn’t get into an U16s with his kicking and the less said about his flap and take out for their pen the better.
Radio Humbs twisted the knife on the drive home by interviewing Liam Rosenior after Dean, talk about chalk and cheese – everything you’d want to hear from a manager with Rosenior.

Bennett’s not our player anyway but he was poor today, clearly unfit so why play him?

Well thats another 90 mins out of the way, and the report suggests that it was another Scunny none event, it was not on the two main RH channels, so got off light with not listening to it, but it reads to have been a poor showing once again, now five matches without a single bloody goal.

I did predict a 0-1 defeat, but it turned out to be 0-2.
My prediction for the gate was 67 more than actually turned up, but not far off!!

So what next season turns out like is anyones guess, but everything appears to be getting worse, what with a big pay off of staff, players that are either not good enough or not trying, Stadium very run down and even the pitch is in poor condition accordding to reports, manager sounded as if he had given up with things in todays after match interview, and it asounds as though the new owner is not going to be paying any cash out of his own pocket.

It looks very grim for the loyal supporters that have stuck with them through 3 relegations in four years, Christ Swann has a lot to answer for.
