Probably needs an upgrade. Can computers experience optimism?

Evidently they can mimic optimism and empathy.

Not that it makes a great deal of difference but any predictions for the Oldham game ..

score and attendance (not sure how many away will be there)

1-1 lord knows who will score for us but Nuttall to net for the Latics

4,000 give or take 100 either side of that.

More like another ‘can’t be a*sed to try to win.’

Any body who can’t be arsed sub them,if there any more left on at that stage just bring them off one at a time till we have the minimum allowed to finish the game.

I like that idea would actually send a message,.. but prob end up with JD getting some right stick….even more than normal !!

Since the first half at York its been a diabolical shambles.. from what ive heard live and and witnessed via vids too many of this current bunch have totally given up , no pride or professional football player mentality , walking n jogging around waiting for the season to end , must be very frustrating for all concerned club staff and management etc let alone the owner n fans.

    Agreed.
That’s the sort of thing Cloughie would do in this situation.

I’ve just realised that Thompson wasn’t involved on Friday and, as nobody else has mentioned it, I guess he wasn’t badly missed. Looks like him and Butterfield were identified as the worst of the CBA squad and we might find out more of them tomorrow.

Thompson injured Friday, not being impressed so far after all the hype just another short arse getting pushed around.

It looks to have draw written on it.
However, we are that bad that I can see Oldham grabbing their first win for a while.

    SUFC 0-2 OLDHAM
    Or perhaps even 0-3

It is very sad that a lot of you loyal supporters seem to have lost faith in the team, the club have changed hands and have a new owner, also a new manager and assistant, the attendance has gone from 2,400 to 3,500., eleven new players have since arrived at our club and they are giving their all for you fans, so get behind them and show a bit of loyalty please. You have even been offered a part share in the up to dated GP Stadium, and you can then be a part owner of it for a small fee, I really do not know what you need so that you will reelly – reeLly care for Scunthorpe United???

PREDICTION SCUNNY 0 OLDHAM 1 (making it five games without a goal!!!!

    GATE 3,821.

Im sure the super manager formerly known as Cox thinks they have to be brave ..braver..braverer

I cant see where a Scunny goal will come from just clinging on for a lucky pen or an OG i suppose ..but sticking with my prediction 1-1 and circa 4000 attendance (how many tickets have the Latics sold ???)

Only 2 home games left so hoping for a decent turn out and they get behind the team Hilts and management.. will we see a bit of player pride passion and effort or another total lazy let down for JD , Hilts and the many loyal fans

Hey Rene PLEASE can you assist with the commentary links as usual , i need to be brave ..many thanks in advance.

Im up at my home in the North and still getting blocked when trying to search n log in more often than not.

    Sorry off topic but ..
A happy Easter to all who care to celebrate it , it was one of my favourite times of the year in blighty.. i fondly remember Milk Tray Easter eggs , Cadbury mini creme eggs and latterly getting bladdered down to pub n going to watch the weekends matches

A full week off here , everything is closed due to the New year celebrations, cabined up as its nasty 40-50 degrees day time high with an overnight lows 24 to 27 .. bad air pollution until the rains arrive another good reason to stay indoors with the AC on…hence posting more than usual.

Sad to think that, should JD opt for 2 up front (seems unlikely) then it will be Carver and Elliott, neither of whom have yet scored for The Iron. Looks like our best chance of a goal will be a solo effort from Wilson or a CB surprise from a corner or free kick. This, of course, depends on us getting in Oldham’s half.

Do you think we will have a proper shot on target? One that troubles the keeper?

The lack of effort shown on the field when we had “a chance” of staying up does not bode well for when we have virtually no chance. So it’s a no from me.

Rain overnight and we are bound to water the pitch before the game 😂 let’s hope their keeper slips on his arse and throws a winner for us into his own net.

    What will today’s team be?
Will he stick with the ‘can’t be arsed’ or will he throw some youngsters & squad players in?

He’ll have to pick some CBAs, I don’t think he’s got 11 otherwise.

    Interesting starting XI.

Looks like 4-4-2 with Sembie-Ferris and a recalled O’Malley the wide men.

Everton-Richards dropped in favour of Boyce. Hmmm!

A few surprises there ..Wilson dropped as well judging by the commentary from Gateshead he was gash ..zero effort or interest.

    BILLSON
    OGLE
    O’MALLEY
    ELLIOTT
    BOYCE C
    BUTTERFIELD
    SHRIMPTON
    LEAKE
    SEMBIE-FERRIS
    SMITH
    BENNETT

Everton was abysmal on Friday so not surprised he’s dropped.

We might get a 0-0 or a 1-1 out of it?
