The linesman was saying it was Ogle playing them onside. I think he must have mistaken someone in the crowd wearing a Sunny shirt and and ogle wig on. Will have to watch it again when the video comes out.

Ogle was looking down the line,switched on ,and knew he was offside.He immediately put his hand up and it was only the incompetence of the linesman that was the problem.

Just had another look Bill and for me Ogle is deeper than the center Half’s which gave the lino an excuse to let play go,but in my opinion the lads offside. Still another 3 points in the bag and we move on to Saturday, come on you iron.

Don’t know how to post images on here but if you freeze frame the video at the point the SS player makes the pass, he’s miles onside!! Poor from Ogle.

Disagree. The freeze frame at the actual moment of contact of the through ball,the runner is clearly offside ( not even just!) We were virtually in line and all around us knew he was offside. No blame for Ogle.

You are looking directly across the pitch and not allowing for the angle. Put a ruler along the halfway line and drag it maintaining the same Angle to Ogle

Ogle was playing him on, you can tell that with the picture a few posts above as their striker arcs his run from behind Ogle.

Not quite sure what’s going on with Ogle of late in all fairness. That was lazy of Ogle not keeping up with the CB’s, as a poster stated above, he was in his own little dream world.

Looking at the picture ogle is playing him on! But if you look at the video I think he comes back onside from an offside position before making the run which is clearly on by then, if that makes sense

Lot of talk about whether their player was offside or not but no mention of Whitehall clearly fouling the centre back for our first!

BTW, why aren’t the club including goals conceded on the match highlights? Seems a bit weird. Imagine if they’d done that last season? There’d be nothing to show from most games!

That wasn’t a foul, there was mutual minor contact and the bloke fell over, they clearly didn’t feel it was a foul.

You are allowed to come back onside from an onside position because your deemed as not active, as you’re not effecting the play. The moment you make a run to get on to a ball you then become active, so if he bent that run from an onside position it’s perfectly legal.

Regarding Ogle, if he keeps making cock ups I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Barrows getting a chance upon his arrival. Only went on a 3 month loan to get fitness levels up and as he’s getting plenty of minutes he’ll be up to speed when he gets back.

I think he had a fairly serious injury last season and was out for a fairly long time.
