    Cox

I’m sorry but he’s not got a clue!

He thinks being a football manager is setting up a team to defend deep for 90+ minutes hoping that at some point a lucky counter attack or a set piece gets you a point or 3

Totally clueless & should not be in charge for next season

As far as I can see they are not defending in the second half…I agree with Cox, he’s not good enough

Set up not to lose and concede two and counting.

It will soon be O’Leary time.

When you’re missing a couple of CBs and a keeper surely it would be better to play as much as the game as possible in the opposition half.

However, with no striker worthy of the name and a midfield that plays the ball sideways or backwards it’s easier said than done.

Reckon we got off lightly at 2-0!

Northumb, we have a good enough midfield in Beestin/karacan with Gillead and Eisa/ Green on the wings when playing in a 4/4/2.

No excuse not playing Loft and Olomola up there to see how they get on. I don’t get why he thinks playing Loft isolated is ever a good idea.

Coincidently we played our best football in a 4/4/2. I wonder why.

I can’t see it changing next season when he’s in charge. I think this is just Cox in a nutshell…ultra cautious.

Just as well for Cox and Swann that there are no fans at games.

Come on lads, be fair. Cox had a 50% success rate last night, he got the nil that he set up to get.

Playing away does mean one thing – the squad of 18 know who they are. Why say that, well, prior to the EFL setting a limit for players (covid rule) for a home fixture it on several occasions the squad was selected 90 mins before kick off !! That is true.

When watching games recently have you thought “Do the players know what the plan is” ? The answer, probably not and with the late selection of the 18 they will only be told what is expected 90 mins before kick off.

It is a farce. Some say let him pick his own squad next season – he wanted Hippolyte.
