Halifax 5/2i know its very very early in the season but Out of that list Scunny n Halifax look doomed the others seem to have some fight and can play n press well enough to put together a decent run ..
Very sad times at our club .. but i remain claret n Blue all way thru ..
UTI ..even tho its from afar.
August 28, 2022 at 6:36 am #243689If we lose to Halifax tomorrow, does Hill go and if he does, who are we realistically going to get ?
Young, up and coming Manager or a tried, tested and scarred old school Manager at this level.. ? I would like to see a good young coach, knows the levels – this league, below and above whilst playing good football and can get the best out of players.August 28, 2022 at 9:43 am #243700AnonymousInactiveOffline

Perhaps a small ‘bank’ of locum football managers is needed who can swoop in and takeover when the need arises?
Blather and the ‘old boys’ and the tired old ‘same faces’ network doesn’t work.August 28, 2022 at 9:57 am #243702Is it the locum doctor who has adjusted your medication Renee, hence you are feeling a tad better now 🤔😂

August 28, 2022 at 10:12 am #243703Looking at the news today it seems there are predictions of lower league and national league clubs going bust due to energy price rises. I wonder how many will finish the season.

Increase the EFL to 80 teams
4 x Regional Divisions of 20 teams = 80 teams.
North East Div, North West Div, South West Div, South East Div.
38 game season.
Top 2 teams from each division go in to an end of season mini league of 8 clubs. They each play other once – either home or away (3H & 4A or 4H & 3A – luck of the draw).
The top 4 teams from this mini league are promoted to the Premier League (4 up, 4 down).
Teams that finish in places 3 to 10 in each of the Regional Divisions go in to the EFL Super Cup.
Teams that finish in places 11 to 18 in each of the Regional Divisions go in to the EFL National Cup.
The EFL Super Cup & EFL National Cup would be made up of 4 x 8 (clubs) = 32 teams.
Both Cups are KO competitions:
R1 – 32 teams (16 games)
R2 – 16 teams (8 games)
QF – 8 teams (4 games)
SF – 4 teams (2 games)
F – 2 teams (the Final)The teams finishing in 19th & 20th places in each of the 4 regional leagues are relegated to the top feeder league in their region.
August 28, 2022 at 2:09 pm #243726What about midland teams R, the north south works reasonably well in non lge why not go back to that in the Efl with promotion to the championship 2 and 2.

Blather and the ‘old boys’ and the tired old ‘same faces’ network doesn’t work.Don’t think even Roy Keane or Roy of the Rovers would get a tune out of this team
