    Now knowing the fixtures/opponents
    August prediction

    3 wins
    2 draws
    1 defeat

    11 points from 18 …

What would your REALISTIC-HAPPY August points tally br ??

Will Wondergoals be hoisting the main sail on HMS piss the league again this year , after last seasons titanticesk voyage im guessing a more realistic evaluation of the Irons chances.

Might as well start off with the toughest game of the season.

    Bit like last year.

Well 2 North East games on a Tuesday in bloody November , Needham market on a Tuesday and they say they try and not play to far away on night matches only 140 odd miles away, Peterborough sports boxing day when there’s no trains away. Overall for me pretty shite.

At least this year we know it’s going to be one of our toughest games.

You would never have guessed Tamworth were going to p1ss the league either before or after last seasons opener.

Seems a bit harsh to be opening and closing the season with 2 long distance away games once again.

Absolute shite, away first and last day of season, the mighty and well supported Peterborough sports and kings lynn for Christmas and Easter, alfreton away Tuesday night…couldn’t be much worse in my view…only positive Scarborough away during the last knockings of summer, but poor consolation. Surely we didn’t request any of the above !!

I bet we did, f row crew. They always try and look after us lol.
Well there’s always the fa cup draw, who did we get last season! 14th of September game always, remember seeing the first snow on our opening games in the fa cup should be ok this year.

I think we’ll do well this season for what it’s worth. No clueless Jimmy Dean and a more fitter team. I obviously haven’t got a crystal ball, but I firmly believe that if we had a fitter team last year with a more clued up manager we would have gone up.

Sorry but still well pissed off,
Picked Warrington to look at there’s, don’t know why I picked them but I did, 4 local Derby’s in the last 5 games of the season, who the bloody hell sorts these fixtures out.

Methinks Warrington is better positioned geographically than we are to have “local” derbies!

Also the league use the Christmas and Easter fixtures for ‘derby games’. Well, the most optimal geographically near teams for the league. Unfortunately, for us that means Kings Lynn and Peterborough Sports.

You have to play everyone twice sooner or later, does it matter when

Footballing wise no Mick, for fans yes it does matter.
Yes I know Warrington have more and nearer Derby’s NI but the national league send out to every club a statement on how they compile the fixtures then seem to totally disregard it, Warringtons derby games could and should be midweek games for fans traveling.
Done now nothing’s going to change more of the same next year no doubt.

Throw into the mix the likelihood of last minute cancellations in this dog shit league and the fixtures get worse!

Not that you’re weaving a narrative of course.
