To be brutally honest there were about 1500 people in the crowd yesterday who could see how the game was going at 3-2 and would be a better manger than Hill – not saying this is the answer but surely they couldn’t do a worse job?

They wouldn’t fit in the dugout!

All our group would have taken a draw at half time, All of us said he’ll send them out to defend were we wouldn’t, that would be our criteria attack is the best defence.

Why wouldn’t Rochdale want Hill, they are in trouble in league 2 and Hills most recent record in league 2 is….

    Oh wait a minute…

IF TRUE ……. its hardly surprising with his recent managerial success and WLD ratio numbers ..

As commented by a Tranmere fan Hill just another journeyman manager trying to extend his career and salary, never to blame always the victim so expect things to turn even more sour soon …

IMO he should be talking to the local council for a job on the bins not a football club.

Let’s face it it’s the only chance Hill moving on, Swanny is hardly likely to sack him that would mean he is interested in the club again. Rochdale would have to get permission from swann to talk to him anyway.Just can’t see it but here’s hoping.

Hillbuild is another Ron Bradley, Dickie Rooks, only I suspect they had a better win ratio, that’s how bad he is.
Must be our worst ever manager.

He makes me pine for the days of Alan Knill and I hated watching his team!

I just wanted to reinforce this message as I firmly believe someone like Craig Elliot is who we need… He is…

    Currently available ✅
Great knowledge of non league ✅
Proven track record of positive recruitment at our level ✅
Took Boston from 2nd bottom to a regular play off team in the NLN, narrowly missing out on promotion ✅
Worked with a part time squad outperforming full time squads ✅
Got Boston to the FA cup 2nd round ✅
Took average attendances from 800 a home game to well over 1,000 with over 4,000 at the FA cup match and final match at York street ✅
3 non league promotions on his CV taking Shaw lane up the non league divisions ✅
Links to Doncaster where Boston train ✅
A Young and hungry manager ✅

    Perfect fit in my opinion…
Just not sure he’d fancy it but we should be going all out to get him in!!

Will we appoint a permanent manager under the current circumstances?

A worry if we do, a worry if we don’t!

Whatever the club does it can’t win!

Sacked by Boston when they were in and around the play offs last season, a victim of his success similar to Graham Alexander I guess.
They now find themselves bottom of the national league north!!
Another example of be careful what you wish for and don’t get ahead of yourself!!!

Curtis Woodhouse… done a cracking job in non league with limited resources.

    LOVES 4-4-2

Has even said he would do it for free until Xmas to show what he can do.

Got nothing to lose I say!

Only what little if any dignity we have as a football club, Woodhouse sounds more like a professional thug than a football person, no thanks that’s the last type of person required for the Iron IMO.

No we won’t. The club said soon after he was sacked that they would put out a further statement at a later date in regards to the interim management of the team.

Does this mean the blasted takeover is still happening behind the scenes ?

Somebody from the club really needs to come out and give us an update as to what the hell’s going on.

Surely got be an interim manager until Swan sells fooks off and the new owners get a replacement , just who in gods name would want to come and work with Swan and the club in its current state remains to be answered.

I’m surprised that no interim leadership team has been announced.
Maybe the sacking was just a knee-jerk reaction and unplanned.
One interpretation might be that a takeover is imminent but I doubt it, although the wild-in-thinking might even suggest that the sacking might have been a joint decision by PS and and incoming owners.
Somebody must be in charge to run the team on Saturday.

Or Lee and Neil told the Swann’s straight how bad it was and the Board acted?
