He sounds like another Arthur ” 2 Sheds ” Jackson.

If you’ve heard his last few albums – Dylan’s voice has matured rather well.
Young Lennie Cohen’s voice was a bit hard to take, his middle-aged voice was okay but his baritone, old man voice was top notch.

If you ever listen to the Nashville Skyline album ( 1969 ) Dylan sounds like a completely different singer ( Lay Lady Lay album ).

Personally I don’t think Bob Dylan has a chance of getting the job. He knows b….. all about football but that alone wouldn’t necessarily exclude him.

Thats why we have opinions les, I enjoy a little LC but Dylans back catalouge is so vast and playable on guitar it’s a no brainer for me.

Controversial opinion: Bob Dylan’s a wonderful songwriter but a rubbish performer. Almost every Dylan cover is an upgrade on the original.

I can’t agree. Not a great singer, technically, but it makes it quintessentially Dylan. I would rather listen to his work than the majority of covers. Jimi Hendrix and All Along the Watchtower one of the few exceptions.

The Hendrix version is all about the guitar playing IMO but again for me Dylan’s vocal on the original relates the songs content in a more relevant way.

It’s a shame Bob doesn’t want to spend some loose change from the sale of his back catalogue on buying a struggling National League club.

He would probably fill the marquee every other Saturday as well.

Your right for a bloke who gets pelters for his singing you could guarantee a full marquee and ground if he rocked up as owner.

You need to get together with some mature cheddar and a glass of fine port with a handle like that.

Judging by today’s result Swann did employ Margery Daw, not Tony Daws.

I’m a massive Dylan fan and finally got to see him live a couple of years ago. One of the worst concerts I’ve been to, the busker outside afterwards was much better…

Has there ever been such a lack of interest/ speculation on a managerial change?

I think that there would be more speculation if we were aware who was responsible for the recruitment. If a sale is happening (maybe) then whoever it is will obviously have their own ideas. If it’s Mr Swann then choose from Wilcox, Alexander or McCall.

Forget Yossarian. This is the real Catch 22.

Permanent appointment means we’re stuck with Swann. Interim manager means we’re stuck in limbo.

    No way out?

I’m sure you get my drift.

    Give it to Curtis Woodhouse!

Always done a decent job on a low budget, said he would do it for free until Christmas then see what they think of him. Applied when Cox was sacked and was told he didn’t have the experience which to be honest doesn’t really matter.

    Nothing to lose!

    Also loves 4-4-2

And how many times have we heard,”Who would want this job” “Administration” “Liquidation” “Swanny out” “Supported the club for 70 years” “Did I ever tell you I was a shop steward” if note else we’re predictable.

Don’t stop keep moaning that’s what you are all like. No manager what you going to do now.l will tell you blame the chairman yes ok but that’s not working he must be laughing at you lot but you still keep saying the same old rubbish I’m afraid you have been (leave the rest up to you guys)

I’d buy a share at £5K if there are another 999 willing to do the same.
    That’s £5m.

We don’t have a Chairman, just an owner.
