August 31, 2022 at 10:04 pm #244257Personally I don’t think Bob Dylan has a chance of getting the job. He knows b….. all about football but that alone wouldn’t necessarily exclude him.

August 31, 2022 at 10:11 pm #244258Thats why we have opinions les, I enjoy a little LC but Dylans back catalouge is so vast and playable on guitar it’s a no brainer for me.
Controversial opinion: Bob Dylan’s a wonderful songwriter but a rubbish performer. Almost every Dylan cover is an upgrade on the original.
I can’t agree. Not a great singer, technically, but it makes it quintessentially Dylan. I would rather listen to his work than the majority of covers. Jimi Hendrix and All Along the Watchtower one of the few exceptions.
August 31, 2022 at 10:39 pm #244259The Hendrix version is all about the guitar playing IMO but again for me Dylan’s vocal on the original relates the songs content in a more relevant way.

September 1, 2022 at 10:59 am #244286This bloke hill had a win record of just shy of 7% how he can call himself a manager beggers belief should have gone ages ago just put £5 on us getting promotion at 100/1 come on you iron

You need to get together with some mature cheddar and a glass of fine port with a handle like that.
September 3, 2022 at 2:49 pm #244373Get Lawsy in.
He has been out the game for a decade. No thanks.

September 3, 2022 at 4:46 pm #244379Judging by today’s result Swann did employ Margery Daw, not Tony Daws.
September 3, 2022 at 4:54 pm #244380Any rumours how long the interim will go on for.?

I’m a massive Dylan fan and finally got to see him live a couple of years ago. One of the worst concerts I’ve been to, the busker outside afterwards was much better…

September 6, 2022 at 2:37 pm #244580Has there ever been such a lack of interest/ speculation on a managerial change?
September 6, 2022 at 3:35 pm #244582Nope, abandon hope all ye who enter here.

September 6, 2022 at 3:36 pm #244583I think that there would be more speculation if we were aware who was responsible for the recruitment. If a sale is happening (maybe) then whoever it is will obviously have their own ideas. If it’s Mr Swann then choose from Wilcox, Alexander or McCall.

September 6, 2022 at 6:19 pm #244586Forget Yossarian. This is the real Catch 22.
Permanent appointment means we’re stuck with Swann. Interim manager means we’re stuck in limbo.
No way out?

September 11, 2022 at 4:12 pm #244798Give it to Curtis Woodhouse!
Always done a decent job on a low budget, said he would do it for free until Christmas then see what they think of him. Applied when Cox was sacked and was told he didn’t have the experience which to be honest doesn’t really matter.
Nothing to lose!
Also loves 4-4-2
September 11, 2022 at 5:07 pm #244801Oh do be quiet Steve, the guys a thug not a football manager.
September 11, 2022 at 5:38 pm #244804Who would want this job no money to spend no decent players with any enthusiasm its all part of the plan. Wake up l will leave the next words to the moaning members of the forum

September 11, 2022 at 6:35 pm #244807And how many times have we heard,”Who would want this job” “Administration” “Liquidation” “Swanny out” “Supported the club for 70 years” “Did I ever tell you I was a shop steward” if note else we’re predictable.
