But who?
Delaney favourite.January 31, 2022 at 9:12 pm #231060Is this in addition to “The Mintoe” (Nuttall) ?
The board is busy tonight looking at the numbers online ( and slow speed|) Mr Swann should take note, there is interest in the club !

January 31, 2022 at 9:14 pm #231062Matt Dean said the papers are already in on Delaney.

January 31, 2022 at 9:27 pm #231071Rekeil Pyke forward Shrewsbury. Forward.
Insert ‘injury prone’
January 31, 2022 at 9:28 pm #231072I just saw that, 82 games and scored 6 goals. Last two seasons he’s played 30 games and scored just the 1 goal.
Good luck Keith.
January 31, 2022 at 9:31 pm #231075Must mean they are certain someone else is on the way out surely?
If we could only get 2 than the 2nd after Nuttal had to be a CB

January 31, 2022 at 9:36 pm #231076I make that 14 goals in 151 games for our new strike force? Of course, I’ve used Wikipedia as my chief scout. Let’s hope someone knows more than wiki…
January 31, 2022 at 9:42 pm #231078You’d like to think so wouldn’t you, but who knows after the last few years…
January 31, 2022 at 9:43 pm #231079Perhaps he’s good a kicking people? Let’s hope he flattens the defenders while Nuttall puts the chances away. Let’s hope a big strong forward is the foil Burns needs to pick up the pieces and score and at least we now have options to mix up the striking process, we had none before.
January 31, 2022 at 9:47 pm #2310815’8″ according to the Shrews website.
January 31, 2022 at 9:54 pm #231083Who the feck is Rekiel Pyke?
Just said that out loud.
Mrs NI said she thought it was a bowel disorder!
January 31, 2022 at 9:56 pm #2310845’8″ according to the Shrews website.
6’2” according to chief scout wiki!
January 31, 2022 at 10:03 pm #231086January 31, 2022 at 10:04 pm #231087Last 3 we had from The Shrews weren’t too bad, let’s give him a chance.
5’8″ or 6’2″? I know which I’m hoping for.
Another one Hill knows – good sign.January 31, 2022 at 10:08 pm #231089Let’s give them a chance, better than we had this time yesterday.
That’s a great sentiment. Whoever pulls on the shirt for the first time gets my support. Let’s hope they get us out of this rapidly descending hole. Time to make a name for themselves and achieve instant cult status.
January 31, 2022 at 10:11 pm #231090” 6 feet 2 eyes of blue coochy coochy coochy coo
Has anybody seen our Pyke ”Another one for the over 65’s.

February 1, 2022 at 12:36 am #231106By the way Pyke is definitely 6ft 2. Nuttall and Burns up front with Pyke as an option from the bench ?. I wonder now we have sinclair and Feeney who are wingers and have 2 good strikers with pyke as backup, would he go 4/4/2 and get crosses whipped in ?
Young Harry Lewis is a natural left winger, so when O’Malley is back he could play a part out wide.
February 1, 2022 at 12:43 am #231107Well done SUFC, you have made a big attempt to rescue our dire situation, and I have got a lot of faith in Keith Hill, and we have slagged Swann off a real lot (with very good cause), but he has at last allowed the manager to make his own signings, we will not get top class players with the wage structure in place, but if Keith knows all about what these players can do, he gets my vote.
As well as getting new players into the club, he has maanaged to get rid of some of the dead wood we had, Hippo has had many chances but he would need a goal with a width of 20 yards to even hit it, Green must have taken my advice and signed for an athletics club, he will never make it at football. I am a bit sorry that Wood has gone back to Hull, I think it would have been a lot better for 6 match suspended Hackney to have been sent back. And the other two who left a few days ago where never going to play regular games. So some very late moves, but at least it was a shock to see that 3 more players signed today, and good luck that Keith can bring a winning team out of our much changed squad, and get our gates up into the 4,000 mark.
We still have a few poor players that obviously are clinging on to their contracts, which I don’t blame them for doing, and a few full time sick notes that were in the window when Cox and Swann junior were making their clown scouting recruitment trips, there again, they should never have been given their jobs.
February 1, 2022 at 1:48 am #231109Still got Big Bad Turan.
I wonder whether the fact he’s played for both us and Stockport that he’s not able to be registered with any body else ?
I didn’t even realise Hackney has served 3 games of his 6 already, he’s back for rochdale game. Jesus, that’s gone quick.
February 1, 2022 at 4:14 am #2311126ft 2,

February 1, 2022 at 8:51 am #231116I believe the lesser stopped German is refusing to have his contract terminated, either he is very stubborn or he believes he can force his way into Mr Hills squad! I think it is the first option.
February 1, 2022 at 9:33 am #231120Bloody Germans eh, bet he still thinks they won the war.
February 1, 2022 at 11:08 am #231140Might be because he’s played for 2 clubs this season so wouldn’t be able to play for another.
If that’s the case his options were either he gets payed off, sits at home and trains on his own as no other club can sign him. Or…earn the same money whilst training within a professional club setup every day with the (very!) slight chance you might make the playing squad.
Don’t really blame him for staying, the blame should be on whoever gave the man a 2 year contract!!
