Tis only one game and he hasn’t signed him he’s only on loan, I wish Beck and Uzbekistan were on loan.
January 19, 2025 at 1:28 pm #297411Yeah, I thought they made a good start yesterday. Which is surprising as numerous supporters crow about Butler not making one good signing.
You say that as though it’s unjustified and our recruitment has been good (or even average) Deerey? I know you like to ooze positivity but come on, this seasons recruitment has been nothing short of abysmal and even you know it.
Let’s give the new boys a few weeks of Butlers expert ‘coaching’ and then see how they look. After all, he has a habit of snuffing out any initial promise in every one of his new recruits. Nicholson looked the business in the first few games now can’t even make the bench, Carlton scoring for fun in preseason now couldn’t hit a barn door, even Beck was the bright spark in an otherwise embarrassing showing against Rylands, now… well the less said the better.

January 19, 2025 at 1:43 pm #297417Torps made an interesting point on RH commentary. Apparently Fadera was playing “park football” not long ago and it showed as “he plays without fear” not having had it coached out of him yet.
How long will that take? Done by Tuesday?1 user thanked author for this post.

How long will that take? Done by Tuesday?Yes i caught that moment of Torps magic and thought the same… a few days of AB n Scoff instilling their ” magic ” will have the lad hiding in the AA bogs before KO rather than flying down the wing scaring the opposition.

How long will that take? Done by Tuesday?Apart from the opening goal against King’s Lynn seen little evidence of any coaching having taken place this season.
January 19, 2025 at 3:32 pm #297442Spent 3 months on Nicholson’s long throw, worked once.
January 19, 2025 at 3:44 pm #297443To be fair it worked at Southport as well. Didn’t work 34 times.
He could that before he got here. Boston looked like they practiced what to do with it though.
January 19, 2025 at 6:17 pm #297462Didn’t even make the bench yesterday, at a ground with probably the biggest available space to the sideline, wonder if scunny ever do their homework.
January 19, 2025 at 9:45 pm #297488If he didn’t make the bench, perhaps he’s injured in some way? Apart from that, surely you can’t be surprised he’s not in the starting 11. We’d never hear the last of it if he retained his place just for his long throw. And rightly so.
