    Neil Cox now favourite.

We could do a lot worse. Had to be someone up and coming, who else would fancy this young squad and zero job security.

    Good look to him.

Neil cox would be a massive gamble for him given our record with managers, his career could be over before its began.

Prefer not to have any ex scunny as manager, and not Neil Cox he would probably want to bring back Wootton, been there done that.

If Neil Cox is being considered whilst he is a serving assistant manager, why not interview Chris Lucketti too?

Should we not consider anyone who has ever had a criminal record? If they have served their time then surely they should be welcomed back in to the fold.

Does this extend to players as well? What about staff? Fans? Where does this all end……..

I would consider Byrne before Cox, he has an understanding of how the club operates at league 1 level. I think Wilcox was in a no win situation if he took the job, a lot of supporters would not be fully behind him. I believe we may have stayed up if he had been appointed instead of Dawson a few years ago when Mccall left.

I’m always torn on these matters, I believe people deserve a second chance but at the same time I don’t really feel comfortable with someone like that representing my club. I felt the same with Jordan Robertson.

It would appear Neil isn’t as popular as first thought. Then again who would be given the pay restraints this season?
