Just thought I’d drop in and say hello.
Please note I now have a dedicated email address at the Club where you can contact me:
fandirector@scunthorpe-united.co.uk
Those of you that know me, either personally or through the podcast, know that I shoot ‘from the hip’; this will be no different in the Boardroom.
I have a voice: your voice, and rest assured you will be heard.
As I said in my statement, it is my intention to bring the fan engagement back to OUR Football Club.
Kind Regards
Neil Wright
I’ve read it all now, nothing will change
All the best Neil. Hope you’re successful getting our voices heard. Some good news for a change. UTI
Look forward to seeing you at the Fans Forum that the Club are over due in holding !
Mr Swann is in for a shock if he thinks he’s got a yes man !
Jill & I are really glad to see you’re elected as Fan’s Director Neil. Good to know there’s someone on the board that will say where & when they’re going (imo) wrong and give appropriate advice (try not to swear lol!).
Last man standing LOL
Neil I think you provided a statement on Twitter which is great except for the fact your Twitter account is private! I have a few questions:
1) What offer will the club have on for the last game of the season? Free entry? £1, £2, £5 or £10 entry? Surely not full price.
2) Why do stewards still persist in constantly walking across the DRE staring at fans? Watch fans if necessary but don’t keep marching across the stand ffs.
3) Any news on a takeover? Has Peter Swann accepted any bids yet?
Neil as left is email address for answering questions and things you would like him to act on, got a very prompt reply when I contacted him.
Appreciate that but a reply to questions on an open forum keeps all the fans informed, which I would have thought is a key part of the role!
