    Are you delusional?

Liquidation is my biggest fear and has been for a while.

Administration is the next demon to avoid.

Finally, four are relegated from the National League.

As the situation currently is, then at best, it’ll be 10 years before a return to the EFL.

League Champions with a 17 year old keeper?

    Yeah, right.

No new signings in the squad either?

Actually, you could be correct with that!

There’s about 4 goals a season in that squad.

Can I ask who is going to score the goals in that team? Also, who is going to stop the opposition scoring them? Thank you.

I hope to see experienced signings –

    1 GK
    2 CB
    2 CM
    2 CF

That would give a squad of 25 with 3 of those under contract to leave if possible.

Great in theory, but getting experienced professionals to come to a club in complete disarray will require nothing short of a magician’s act from our fabled recruitment committee.

On current evidence we have no National League level forwards. Cameron Wilson is the nearest we have and we should be planning to get no more than 10 games and 10 sub appearences out of him.

Hallam plays about 3 games a season (based on quite a bit of evidence) and Nuttall has not played any yet. O’Neill has a level of pace I can match in my sixties with a dodgy knee. Bunn will surely get offered more than tuppence a week somewhere else.

I think we need 4 forwards on that basis. Even if Nuttall comes good (and I’m not totally writing him off yet) we still need 3.

I am sure Wonder Goals will be along with his annual scouting report for players to sign shortly. :-)

Thats stuff what dreams are are made of … great theory but simply wont happen under the current watch.

Think this season was bad .. unless new owners and manager are found im predicting the next to be worse.

If Notts County get promoted, maybe they’ll let us have Kyle back?

As others have mentioned, I would be much more concerned with liquidating, looking very worrying for you lot. Even if you don’t liquidate, if Swann is still at the helm, I can’t see you any higher than 15th. It’s a very tough league with a hell of a lot of money, like we did last Saturday, you’ll get beat by teams who 5 years ago you’d have never heard of. Good luck with getting Swann out, are there any rumours of new potential investors?

Its at times like this that the fans need to be told what is happening with recruitment. Is KH, LT & WS looking at half decent players in non league or are we waiting to see what dross other clubs are letting go. If the club want fans to support the club then at least the club should be keeping the fans up to date. Our club webpage tells you nothing. The club have little or nowt to say. Now that is worrying.

Exactly the same was said at this time last year, the year before, the year before that, the year before that, the year before that….
Like every club, some players will leave and some players will join.
Do any clubs announce a list of their targets? If so I must have missed them for the last several decades.

Bang on.. how the club operates re keeping fans informed is hopeless yes there has to be a certain level of privacy but not even a mention of any targets to sign …also.. the website is crap and same old same old dross .. OTD bollocks , IN A COUPLE OF YEARS DOWN THE LINE IF STILL IN BUSINESS can we look forward to an OTD we got relegated to the NL and lost our EFL status vid.

Swann constantly asks fans to support the club buying season tickets , using the restaurant n buying merchandise but offers little back to keep fans interested and remotely enthused ..hes just going through the motions until a buyer comes in or the club is wound up goes bust.. either is a win win for him and the latter is favourite at the moment.

Looks more like a National League North squad, expect Beestin to be sold in next January’s window, he’s better then what’s coming next season.

After witnessing the weakest attempt by any team to keep their Football League status since relegation to the National League started, I can’t imagine we will be anywhere in the running to be Champions or even top 15.

Goodbye Mr Perry. 24 year old midfield player that does not tackle or track his man.

If I am reading his stats correctly never scored a goal or made an assist in his professional career. I assume we have had to pay up at least a decent chunk of his remaining contract.

    No wonder we are shite.

    41 appearances in 5 seasons.
    8 appearance (average) per season.
    0 goals.

    Embarrassing stats!

He’ll be lucky to get a National League club.
