August 29, 2020 at 9:06 am #194070Wow that’s some name, sounds more like a medical condition, anyway, welcome young man may your stay be full of goals and assists. Oh and please don’t get injured before you’ve made an appearance for us or indeed after for that matter.
August 29, 2020 at 9:06 am #194071A Greek goddess nonetheless
August 29, 2020 at 9:11 am #194072Sorry for being negative but is another winger what we need?
As for experience – according to Wiki he’s never played in the EFL.August 29, 2020 at 9:16 am #194073neither has Messi, Cass.
August 29, 2020 at 9:20 am #194074Low cost replacement for Eisa?
August 29, 2020 at 9:21 am #194075Is he the other striker we’re after?
Suppose Hypolyte’s signing could be preparing for a departure?
August 29, 2020 at 9:32 am #194076That’ll be Eisa on his way then.
August 29, 2020 at 10:05 am #194078neither has Messi, Cass.
Messi is looking for another club, so who knows 😀
August 29, 2020 at 10:40 am #194079Is he the utility player that was mentioned??anyway another positive attack minded signing, any names on the trialist
August 29, 2020 at 11:08 am #194080Looks capable if this video is anything to go by…decent back flip too!
August 29, 2020 at 11:25 am #194081The MH promo video, probably what the scouting is currently based on followed up by “Draaaw Tickets” going to have a look.
August 29, 2020 at 11:48 am #194084Cox will be fully aware of him from last season.
August 29, 2020 at 12:52 pm #194089Is he the utility player that was mentioned??anyway another positive attack minded signing, any names on the trialist
No the utility player Cox said was an experienced player who could play in midfield and across the back. The striker mentioned yesterday was somebody we we’re taking on trial, who’s supposed to be playing today so he’s obviously not him either.
This will mean either Eisa, Colclough or Gillead are soon to be out the door. This player is strictly a winger.
August 29, 2020 at 1:21 pm #194090Eisa most likely I would think.
If him going allows us to bring in a replacement plus 1-2 more then not a bad trade. We’re strong out wide and desperately short in other places.
Shame no whispers of a keeper still though.
Also a utility player who can play CM or across the back?? If Perch hadn’t signed for Mansfield I’d be panicking!
August 29, 2020 at 3:31 pm #194091That’s what Cox said, an experienced player who can play CM and across back. I heard his interview yesterday on twitter. The trialist striker is playing today with Eisa upfront. Hornshaw is playing in CM and going by what Cox said yesterday he really rates him.
Cox likes Hornshaw at RB as well so expect to see a fair bit of him this season.
Going by updates via scunny account on twitter Dales is getting stuck in…. Just as I say this, Watford have just scored but not doing too badly.
August 29, 2020 at 3:36 pm #194093“If Perch hadn’t signed for Mansfield I’d be panicking!”
Mansfield are 3v0 down after 30 minutes and Perch has a yellow card!
August 29, 2020 at 4:18 pm #194095Phèdre, by Racine has Hippolyte as hero.
Dim and distant memories of the play when I was doing my degree.
If he is hero class … welcome!August 29, 2020 at 4:25 pm #194096The trialist has got the hook at Watford any namees
August 29, 2020 at 5:33 pm #194097Probably fitness Walter.
August 29, 2020 at 5:40 pm #194098I agree Mick, he got 60+ minutes..enough to see what he’s about.
August 29, 2020 at 5:51 pm #194099I see Eisa got 85 minutes today but McAtee did not feature.
Maybe it’s him packing his suitcase?
August 29, 2020 at 5:52 pm #194100Fat fingers, Eisa got 75 minutes.
August 30, 2020 at 9:17 am #194101“Now fair Hippolyte, our nuptial hour draws in apace: four happy days.
Another moon, but oh! How slow this old moon wanes!”
August 30, 2020 at 10:13 am #194103OMG, Lesgeo! I,too, have distant memories of Racine. I taught Phèdre and Andromaque in the early 70s: “Pour qui sont ces serpents qui sifflent sur vos têtes” and “Qui te l’a dit?”. No DVDs in thoase days!
August 30, 2020 at 10:38 am #194104Ooh. Innit gettin’ dead intellectual on ‘ere these days, like, me, NI and now Inspector.
(Mind you – gotta admit, NI, that I thought Midsummer Night’s Dream but did need to check it. Oh, the shame!)August 30, 2020 at 12:38 pm #194107Whoever the trialist was he looked a big ol’ unit on the highlights!
August 30, 2020 at 12:45 pm #194108The trialist has got the hook at Watford any namees
No. But not from these shores ( not Maltese I can say that).
