Why don’t you **** off FC 100,000?
Won’t it be strange when we’re completely gone?
And we’re playing three miles down the road,
I never knew that we’d get murdered,
Sat in the stand with two hundred of our own,
From that damp and dingy Sunday years ago(Apologies to Pulp/Jarvis Cocker)
March 23, 2025 at 7:19 pm #300304I believe your suggesting the club get their income from attendances Siderite!
If that is what your suggesting it just doesn’t ring true, Hilton was only in charge a week with one home games revenue (obviously minus season ticket holders money that Swanny received) by the time the tax bill wad paid before the 30th jan that led to the transfer embargo to be lifted.
Must have been one hell of a bank account in the black that Swanny left him lol. How benevolent of him, makes you wonder why he would why he would leave all that money when the taxman would have got it anyway when the club was wound up it just doesn’t make sense.
Who’s told you all this guff?
The money at the club available wasn’t from one game’s attendance. It didn’t start from £0.00.
March 23, 2025 at 7:26 pm #300307Swann was many things, but he didn’t raid company’s money and put it in his own bank account like some spiv. There was some money at the club in Jan 23 so far as I am aware.
March 23, 2025 at 7:33 pm #300309It’s absolutely disgraceful, most fans recognise we need investment whether that’s internal or external. This however, isn’t the solution.
March 23, 2025 at 7:35 pm #300310such a brilliant idea – you would have thought it would have worked already somewhere in the world!!!
Why would anyone except a Scuny fan give us a fiverMarch 23, 2025 at 7:47 pm #300311We seem to lurch from one crisis to another.
I wonder how much Kenny Roberts is leaching a year?March 23, 2025 at 7:49 pm #300312Swann was many things, but he didn’t raid company’s money and put it in his own bank account like some spiv. There was some money at the club in Jan 23 so far as I am aware.
He did put the Club’s stadium in his back pocket, though.

I am not denying that or saying Swann was a good owner.
March 23, 2025 at 7:58 pm #300317Worrying if it is indeed us that FC100000 have an AIP with. The only saving grace I can see at the moment is that it sounds as if they need 40,000 sign-ups before being able to make any sort of real offer for the 50+1 shareholding.
Honestly cannot believe that the club are even entertaining this. The mind baffles!
March 23, 2025 at 8:23 pm #300321Firstly, thanks 64 for the information.
Secondly, I’ve just read about the whole Ebbsfleet saga and cannot believe Scunthorse United would entertain this idea for more than 1 millisecond.

BUNCH OF MASSIVE C*NTS
March 23, 2025 at 9:34 pm #300325When you read the fc100000 website, there is zero mention of Ebbsfleet or my football club.
To quote their website it says “Will Brooks & Michael Brady first discussed FC100,000 in late 2023, excited by the idea of creating a more sustainable and inclusive way of running a football club. “Will Brooks is the Ebbsfleet/myfootballclub guy which is glossed over as “crowdfunding experience”.
A red flag if ever there was one.

March 23, 2025 at 11:18 pm #300329What’s the score with the Board quashing what appears to be one Director and the CEO’s folly?
March 23, 2025 at 11:46 pm #300333You can’t make it up. Only at SUFC can you go from one extreme to another in 24 hours.
Worryingly it sounds like a deal has been done, whether the public backlash- and there’s been a significant one- is enough to scupper an existing arrangement is enough, who knows.
Regardless of the outcome, there’s credibility now lost for even entertaining the idea. It’s clear things are untenable at a 65k month loss so the search for an investor/new owner now has to be the number one priority

March 24, 2025 at 2:03 am #300335This is all very worrying.
We had Swan
We had HiltonThen thank the lord Michelle came along to save the club and in the course of a years relative stability largely due the the local council, businesses and fans / population of the town rallying round to raise money… if this FC 100000 is allowed to happen what a huge kick in the gonads it will be for all those who helped when the chips were down and the club on the cusp of folding.
If Sharp ETC are true fans they should know this is a massive NO NO and could possibly destroy all the great work that has been done.
Sponsors already coming out against this , lets hope more do and put the pressure on those leading this which INO is a betrayal of the fans and towns loyalty.
All this negativity at the crux of the season and after the euphoria of 8k plus and a fantastic win against Chester its a real downer and more so could well effect the mindset of the players and coaching staff as well as sponsors and fans with more un necessary uncertainty.
WTF are “they” thinking of ???
March 24, 2025 at 6:23 am #300339Squad/staff/office/cost cutting.
Do you really need analysts, S&C coach, more than one physio (medical) at this level.
Do we really need an over paid CEO? Pre Swann, the lad Beeby did the job on a normalised salary.
Close the restaurant if it’s making a loss. On match days order in a couple of platters of sarnies from Greggs for the opposition directors to munch on.
Feeding the players breakfast & lunch would obviously go too… as we’d have no restaurant and no staff. They are big lads and can feed themselves.
What does the weekly wastage amount to?
What is the cost of a seat upgrade on match days – hopefully it covers the paid for bar, stated to be open throughout the match day. Drink & be merry!
A skeleton playing staff. In the 60s & 70s, first division teams had very small first team squads.
Players wages & contracts need reviewing. Insane to be paying the bozo Banjo £1500 plus bonuses a week! I’m sure there are others on similar over inflated wages too.
Has anyone ever looked at outsourcing the washing of match day kit. That’ll save a wage and overtime.
Players will have more than one training kit – make them responsible for washing/cleaning their own kit.
Do all office staff need to be full time; are they all really needed four days & a match day?
Do we really need as many stewards?
Remember the days when stewards were volunteers, happy to just be involved and to watch the game for free.
Free seats & cheap seats – research has proven that it has to have value to be desired / wanted / valued. In charged v free studies, gates have being higher at venues with true pricing.
Staff IT equipment, do staff need the latest all singing all dancing computers? MacRodwell had an iMac as big as his desk… was that necessary at a lower league club. All image and no substance.
Equipment audit – if it’s not used or over duplicated and not on a lease then sell it.
Company cars & fuel cards – both being abused since the invention of… private use & mileage. Get the bus, cycle, motorbike, train, tram or own vehicle.
Something that we probably can’t currently afford but would work out cheaper in the long term is a ‘plastic pitch’. We’d need fewer groundsmen so saving money.
Social Media overkill – is it necessary at our level. Paying someone a good wage to tweet (how do they refer to posting on X now?), text, FB, Instagram, TikTok etc.
Post news, info, match previews & reviews on the OWS. Just because it’s there, doesn’t mean we have to.
I’m sure there are other savings to be made and can be made if we put some thought in to it.March 24, 2025 at 8:01 am #300347Squad/staff/office/cost cutting.

March 24, 2025 at 8:12 am #300349Credit to Rene it’s a well thought out post even if some of it won’t work.
Over on SUFG, those showing concern are being told to shut up and ignore it, no change there!March 24, 2025 at 8:58 am #300364So, if this crap get’s the go-ahead this weekend how are we protesting?

Sponsors across the whole club spectrum must get on to Glyn Sparks pronto to voice their concern …ive seen only only major sponsor do so as yet.
As for fans on cusp of a coup style betrayal of epic proportions at the most crucial part of the season but just how to protest yet to be decided as they will more than likely unsettle AB and the players for the run in.
March 24, 2025 at 9:21 am #300369March 24, 2025 at 9:38 am #300371Tennis balls went down well last time with the pitch invasion.
And a Ps to Swanny putting the stadium in his back pocket, thank God he did cos there’s no way the government would have stepped in to buy the football club.
Spring statement on Wednesday maybe Rachel will help out.

Access to the App for their £49.
You can actually purchase a share (1:2000 ish) in a racehorse for that.
You don’t ‘own’ the horse or have any input in to it… but it’s a bit of interest and something to follow.
You also get a divvy of any winnings.
Broodmares – you get a return on any of the bloodline. A better ‘return’ than horses that are actually racing.
It’s more small time sponsorship with a bit of a return… hopefully.March 24, 2025 at 10:07 am #300382What do the shareholders get when purchasing the shares that Michelle as made available.
Isn’t it just the same.March 24, 2025 at 10:17 am #300384seems most of this is playing out on twitter X .. i dont use it so just picking up titbits as i see em .. how has Gareth Ironarmy got himself involved thought he had more sense unless he was hood winked by slippery Sharp n radar Roberts

That’s yet to be revealed. But it has been said that IronArmy makes an appearance in in some kind of promotional/grand unveiling video for the scheme. All parties were made to sign NDAs.
I’m wondering if this video will ever see the light of day.
March 24, 2025 at 10:28 am #300387I was looking into some form of match sponsorship next year from my company, so have emailed the club asking for clarification on the subject before I invest. If I get a decent response, I’ll feed it back
