January 22, 2025 at 10:28 am #297761I don’t know, what are the murmurings ?
I’m not in the know and no one stood near me in the DRE murmured anything except when Beck and Evans came on.2 users thanked author for this post.
January 22, 2025 at 10:33 am #297762Still more ” I know something you don’t” postings
January 22, 2025 at 11:25 am #297767Not sure if this is allowed, but this is the rumour being referenced. I will add that this is all a rumour so far as I know, so I am not claiming any knowledge on this bit.

This is all rumour, it must be stressed. Could well be part of the wild guesswork from people hearing things and basing on grains of truth.

January 22, 2025 at 11:58 am #297778That’s not a ringing endorsement it’s not going to happen tbh.
Suppose we should all sit in the corner and be quiet like Cass wants us to.
And I’m not stirring.January 22, 2025 at 12:33 pm #297781Where did I say that?

Being quiet has got us far in these last few years hasn’t it?January 22, 2025 at 12:41 pm #297788Here we go again!
Back on our guard!
Why does everyone want to screw our club over?
So, the CEO is a mate of the head honcho at Attis?
It’s all starting to stink again!

Reminds me of the ‘own a share in a racehorse’ companies.
Buy a nag for £15k – 3,500 shares @ £75 a share = £262k.
Nice business.

Not at all, if people have got something to say then say it. Posting supposedly tempting hints is not for me, that’s all.5 users thanked author for this post.
January 22, 2025 at 2:29 pm #297795I know we live in a world where truth is fast becoming whatever most people are willing to believe rather than anything backed up by actual evidence but in my humble opinion, this is all nonsense.
The only tangible shred of evidence the bloke on twitter/X has provided is a link to Wikipedia page detailing what went on with myfootballclub 12 (TWELVE) years ago.
The website linked to the Wiki page (www.myfootballclub.co.uk) times out and seems abandoned, I can’t find an active site on the wayback machine (internet archive) for at least the last 6 years. Their Facebook page detailing their sponsorship of the might Slough Town hasn’t been updated since 2020.
By the 2012-13 season they had just 1300 members (source: The Guardian, interview with founder Will Brooks in 2017) hardly enough people to buy a football club at £35 a pop
According to the FCA website mutuals public register, Myfootball Club Society Limited (30275R) was deregistered on 17th March 2014.
I stress I have no knowledge of the inner working of the club so could always be wrong but on balance, based on the information I can find (and until anyone presents evidence to the contrary), this smells a lot like bovine excrement to me.

I agree. There have been whisperings of what is happening and none other than this guy on twitter have mentioned myfootballclub. As you say, myfootballclub has been quiet for years and I don’t know why it would restart now or why anyone would think it would be beneficial to the club or themselves.
There were past rumours under Hilton that had merit, but those came from people with some club links and Hilton had a Company’s House record that stank, giving reasons for concern. This doesn’t seem to have any trail beyond that twitter account.

January 22, 2025 at 4:13 pm #2978035 year season ticket for seating, 6 year for standing, and I know a under 16 that got 10 to include 3 years has an adult.

The twitter account these were posted from has been deleted. Hmmm
January 23, 2025 at 3:32 pm #297843There is definitely appears to be something in these rumours going from what’s on twitter.
