A game on average every 4 days – which extends to 9 games over 35 days when including the last two fixtures of February.
Both Tuesday evening fixtures are away – late home and to bed (recovery).
Boys will be knackered!
1 Mar Buxton
8 Mar Leamington
11 Mar Tuesday Alfreton
15 Mar Farsley
18 Mar Tuesday Kidderminster
22 Mar Chester
29 Mar SouthportMinds & bodies will be under pressure & stress and the physio is going to be earning his corn.
February is going well. Let’s hope we extend that in to March.
The players are going to need to refuel & rest aplenty – perhaps have a couple of weeks where they get Wednesday & Thursday off (the 2 tues away game weeks)?
We (Hercules) only play one game a week on either a Sat or Sun – I’ve noted that we get fewer injuries
February 16, 2025 at 7:11 am #299049if only they were full time fit athletes with nothing else to do!! Jeez just do their jobs like everyone has to and don’t buy into the modern generations i cant cope with working too hard

February 16, 2025 at 10:06 am #299062Absolutely 64, many/most of the opposition players will be putting in 30+ hours Monday to Friday doing a proper job. Schedule should work in our favour.

February 16, 2025 at 11:26 am #299065Aye, they’re not pensioners like us Rene!
Also some clubs have 2/3 games in hand on us to make up.

March 2, 2025 at 2:32 pm #299584Not a great start to the month.
March 12, 2025 at 5:47 am #2998212 wins and a draw so far – 20 days and FIVE games remaining of the month!
Sunbeds, saunas, swimming & massages are the order of the month. Hydration, nutrition, sleep, relaxation… and have some fun – we’re top of the league!
Take it easy guys!March 12, 2025 at 9:12 am #299833Yes I’m sure the players and management have no idea what to do to keep the squad firing on all cylinders for the rest of this busy month, thanks for offering valuable tips on how it’s done Rene.

Happy to help… always (thumbs up icon)
UTIMarch 12, 2025 at 10:28 am #299846Rene would have the whole squad on a Saudi mini break I reckon:)
March 12, 2025 at 10:45 am #299848Or watching Hercules to see how they could improve themselves.
March 12, 2025 at 12:22 pm #299858Yes isnt it strange how we cant use icons anymore on posts because the whole post then cant be posted, SST has never explained that one.

March 29, 2025 at 10:30 pm #301190We survived.
Pity we didn’t get the draw v Kiddy.March 29, 2025 at 11:34 pm #301192That Kiddy result could be a murderer come the end of agonising April!
March 29, 2025 at 11:55 pm #301193‘Murderer’?
March 30, 2025 at 8:41 am #301200Sad if a fluke goal scuppers us.

March 30, 2025 at 7:27 pm #301258indeed it would be a cruel fluke –
i’m still worried we will lose out on GD. Listening post Southport AB and Clunan don’t seem too concerned. I assume we are hoping Buxton will take points of Kiddy and we beat Radcliffe. Dangerous.
Curzon and Spenny tricky home games for both and they wont beat our result. I’d be so much more relaxed with a better GD.March 30, 2025 at 7:51 pm #301259Always best to think about these things logically, if you were Phil Brown would you rather be two points better off than your nearest title challenging rival or two goals difference better and two points behind! Come on it’s a no brainer surely?
March 30, 2025 at 8:03 pm #301260Rene would have the whole squad on a Saudi mini break I reckon:)
Nah, a 9 hour flight would be exhausting.
I’d pick a 3 hour flight to Faro.March 30, 2025 at 8:23 pm #301261Phil B may think his team will win the next 5 and expect us to bottle it. While we are the best team we too reliant on the ability of a couple to win. Lets hope they stay fit
March 31, 2025 at 12:10 am #301276Maybe Phil Brown is relying on a couple of players to stay fit, he will feel the pressure just the same as our management will and both sets of players. They won’t disclose it publicly but the greater pressure will be on the team trailing not the team leading, it’s the law of averages it’s how this stuff works.
