Iron Bru › Forums › Blast Furnace › Much more Positive
That was a lot better Mr Hill.
The team played for 90 minutes and all the players worked much harder for each other and individually.
Really enjoyed the game, a joy to watch compared to what has been served up and Leyton Orient are a very very strong good footballing side. They were great to watch too.
The result feels like a victory.
Positives on the field and off the field.
Up the Iron
There are more positive signs there. Kenyon filled me with dread when I first saw him pre injury but with more game time and fitness he’ll be alright.
Beestin needs to stay in. Pugh has good energy but lacks quality, I’d maybe go with Hackney there next to Beestin and Perry in my opinion needs to play further forward feeding the 2 strikers.
Scrimshaw, Perry, Beestin and O’Hara played well so there were positives but the 2 CB’s were awful and Loft was diabolical.
Loft needs to bench warm from now on until he starts pulling his finger out. I don’t rate Jarvis but least he puts the effort in.
It’s just a shame that O’Neil is as poor as he is because we could do with somebody else up there with Scrimshaw.
Would Jessop even be any worse than the way Loft and Jarvis are playing ?. I’m not so sure.
Super goalkeeping.
Thought Jarvis looked ok, occupied their defenders well and once we got players within 30 yards of him, things started to happen.
Perry might be the slightest, lightest weight footballer I’ve ever seen.
Seems to be some doubt on other threads about the teams performance since Keith Hill took over.
Thus far only draws, but the players can play for 90+ minutes are physically and mentally fitter, with those who do not wish to play for the Iron being left on the side lines soon to be departed.
Those negative types no longer dominate the dressing room. As Jai Rowe said on RH the squad is a lot happier playing under Keith Hill.
Hopefully the damage by that noodle Cox can be undone and we can stave off relegation.
Thus far only draws.
In the league before someone pounces on the cup defeats!
