Which player improved most over the season?
Which player regressed the most?
To me, Whitehall looked better when we had a little spell late in the season of playing more direct football. He has a really great touch and is pretty smart with it.
Butterfield seemed to become less effective as the season wore on.
For me, comparing start of the season to the end, most improved was Sembie-Ferris.
Most regressed was Cam Wilson, for the first month of the season he looked good on the left side of the front 3. Did well against Tamworth away, seemed to be making chances in games, won a pen against Peterborough that Whitehall missed and scored that great goal against Scarborough. Somehow he disappeared to be a bit part player and ended up getting loaned to Scarborough (where I believe he did ok again).
Sembi Ferris for me most improved, Fitz most regressed very confident and sure of himself when he first arrived, ended up being very nervy wasn’t sure from each game whether he’d be the best passer in the team to being a liability.
Seems several suffered under the ID regime. Most players who got criticized seemed to get blamed for poor passing, cannot be a coincidence.
I was thinking:
DSF
Butterfield
I think Butterfield did not play as well as he could because he had little respect for the manager

But what about respect for himself?
Clunnan regressed the most for me, around Christmas time his form dropped off a cliff and never really regained any of it. Most improved is Sembie Ferris, started off shaky, but well and truly proved his worth. The key sent out on loan have having much needed game time.
