SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher was fuming Wrexham’s winning goal was allowed to stand. The National League leaders secured all three points courtesy of an own goal from Blues goalkeeper Steve Arnold in the first half.
But Maher felt Arnold was fouled by Wrexham striker Paul Mullin and could not believe the goal was allowed to stand.
“He’s nicked Arnie’s arm as he’s catching the ball and nine times out of 10 it’s given. Fair play to their player, he’s clever.”
Clever is one word for him, I have another!!!!
Take a guess, maybe you are thinking. Crafty
Close, you have 3 letters right.
Reminds me of Doyle/Roberts at Chesterfield.
Ex-Sheff Utd thug?
Lee Hughes used to be terrible at Notts County back in the day and Lee Thorpe ex Lincoln City was like that too. Mullin is a diving, cheating pillock. Good player, he’s just one of those type of players that are well versed in the dark arts.
Mullin cheats refs and he’s good at it too.
Ivan Toney was always falling down for us, fooled nobody.
