March 17, 2022 at 8:04 pm #233775Victoria Ground Worcester 2014
March 17, 2022 at 8:10 pm #233776Wasn’t the Worcester game played at Kidderminster, they only started playing at the Victoria Ground last season, I know one of their coaches he lives just up the road from me and has told me all about the new ground.

March 17, 2022 at 8:20 pm #233777Anyway it’s Claines Lane not Victoria Ground where they play now, Victoria Ground was their ground after 2016 up to last season in Bromsgrove after they left Kidderminster

March 17, 2022 at 9:01 pm #233787Nearly ironic but close enough, it’s called the New Manor Ground, the Manor Ground was the old ground in the town centre, been on them both, Iron at the New Manor and Gainsborough at the old, not sure if Scunthorpe have played at the old, I have a feeling we have played at Shildon and maybe Consett and possibly more in that area.

March 17, 2022 at 9:21 pm #233790You are probably right with New Brighton but the other 2 we have at more than once.

March 18, 2022 at 1:58 am #233798Five and a half more correct answers, Stadium of Light, Canal Street (Runcorn), Tower Athletic Ground (New Brighton but not Sandheys Park which was last played on in 1939), New Manor Ground (Ilkeston), Borough Sports Ground (Sutton United) and Manor Park (Nuneaton)

March 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm #233813Correct NI. Nine to go, six of which no longer exist!
March 18, 2022 at 1:05 pm #233814I take it this is since we entered the FL in 1950, not before?

March 18, 2022 at 1:59 pm #233817Dagenham and Redbridge?
1 user thanked author for this post.
March 18, 2022 at 3:34 pm #233822Victoria Road, Dagenham is correct mick.
Sorry NI, I didn’t make it clear. Any competitive match ie Football League, FA Cup (round one onwards), League Cup and Football League Trophy. So four of them are pre 1950 of which Canal Street has already been guessed.

March 18, 2022 at 7:55 pm #233839We’ve played them in the Midland League because Trinity’s record crowd is against Scunthorpe, so not sure about that one whether that counts but I’m sure Bobby G will know, 2 good shouts with Hull and MK Dons

March 18, 2022 at 8:01 pm #233842I knew we played them regularly in the Midland League but I thought we were talking football league and cup games..over to Bobby G for the verdict!

March 18, 2022 at 8:14 pm #233843We played Wimbledon at Sellhurst Park in the FA Cup in 1994 which at the time was technically their home ground, this was the only time we played them there
March 18, 2022 at 8:27 pm #233844Again, we have played Palace there, I went to the Wimbledon game and three of the Palace games, going by that way of thinking I went to watch us play Brighton at Gillingham, so, got to admit this thread is a good one from the Gmeister.
