A very messy New Year?
Where are we at?
1) We are lead to believe that the current owner wants to sell at a price whereby he clears the debts or the majority of the debt he attributes to SUFC ?
2) One ‘deal’ collapsed – due to the ‘fit & proper owner’ test?
3) It appears that Elliott / Sharp may not have the funds to buy the club & stadium let alone the surrounding land?
4) We appear to owe the Taxman £x ? How much do we owe?
5) We are under an embargo.
6) No players will be coming in.
7) Some players will be leaving, end of loans, end of contract, transferred out.
8) The squad will be further weakened and reduced in size.
9) The nature of the owners gambling may be investigated by the FA to determine whether any football bets were struck?
10) We may face a points deduction for failing to pay HMRC and should any betting rules be broken, a points deduction for that.
11) If the owner puts the Club in to administration after (I think it’s) the third week in March – we will face a points deduction next season.
12) If Dewhurst goes back to his parent club, we’ll have a first year Apprentice in goal (Foster injured) with the U16 keeper on the bench?
13) How long is the embargo?
Is there anything else?
I’m beginning to lose hope 😟
Some clarity on the above issues would help.
And a Happy New Year to you too.
We could do with the title of this thread coming in on a freebie, that would help.
Messy would look good on the back of an iron shirt, closest thing to getting the real one.
You don’t owe the Taxman for long.
You either pay up or they wind you up.
We ve no money so looks like the second option favourite !

If that’s the case, then let’s hope it happens before mid-March.
Else we will be starting next season on minus 12 points.
Surely if we’re wound up, next season doesn’t really matter SUFC Ltd won’t exist (right up Swann’s street that)
When are HMRC demanding (if they are) payment by?
