Remember when the club had no money and not only the Smoking goat came to the rescue?
Well so did Merch labs who dealt with the suppliers who wouldn’t supply the club, they bought the merchandise and shared the profits with the club.
They’ve been shit on by the club and told they’re no longer required from May despite them having a contract.
Who are the club going to shit on next?1 user thanked author for this post.

March 23, 2025 at 4:48 pm #300283Seems a bit like somebody with no local connection and no understanding of loyalty making important decisions with little understanding of possible consequences.

Bike Boy ‘Kenny’ Roberts requires stabilisers.
March 24, 2025 at 2:15 am #300337it will all be labelled as necessary ” fiscal streamlining ” ..seems the club are changing direction re decisions based on loyalty towards those who helped when at their lowest ebb
Other than Michelle n Roj are our other directors true fans ?? at the mo its making me wonder.March 26, 2025 at 4:12 pm #300733Did Sharp and Aitkenhead go to games before all this? Know Roj has always been there.
March 26, 2025 at 4:19 pm #300738Despite his success I had never heard of Ian Sharp prior to his attempted takeover from Swann/WHAM. But I couldn’t say if he was a regular attender or not, didn’t/don’t know the guy.
I don’t know Aitkenhead personally or his attendance record but I know from others that he’s an Iron fan.
March 26, 2025 at 4:20 pm #300740Maybe Muppet Labs would be a more appropriate title, ah vintage memories of Beaker in his white lab coat blowing everything up.
March 26, 2025 at 4:27 pm #300747Perhaps they could rebrand for the Weekender “Meth Labs”

April 4, 2025 at 7:38 am #301562The merch labs merch was largely unimaginative tat but Sam Beadle is another one that Roberts and co have shit on from a great height.

April 4, 2025 at 8:10 am #301573Are the current directors injecting (giving) cash to the club or loaning it.
If it’s loans, what’s the rate?April 4, 2025 at 10:26 am #301584Club online shop still down. Shitshow.
April 4, 2025 at 11:01 am #301586Everything points to all not being well at GP. Hopefully nothing comes out until we’re up.
If this derails us, certain board members have a lot to answer for.
April 4, 2025 at 11:06 am #301588The Merch labs have been told to get gone by close of business today allegedly.

April 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm #301600Close, new kit supplier is Meyba.
From wiki:
Created in the 1940s, Meyba is a sports brand from Barcelona, specialised in the manufacture of sportswear and swimwear.
However, in 1994, the company fell into receivership, leading to its closure in 1997.
It was then acquired by Pulligan Group, owned by Joan Canals.[3] In 2013, the brand rights were acquired by the Dutch brand Premium, which manages the brand rights of Johann Cruyff.April 4, 2025 at 1:25 pm #301601Club online shop still down.
