Following the shameful assault on the ref in Turkey I think there will be a big reactions from UK officials – long over due in my opinion.
I can see officials stopping games if they are verbally abused in the future, and I think we can standby by for lots of yellow and red cards this week/weekend.
I hope some of are own players, one in particular, and staff are taking note… otherwise we are going to throw are promotion challenge under the bus due to players been sent off or suspended!

I’m certain you know what you’re getting at in your post, unfortunately after reading it 3 times, I’m struggling to understand it.

I’m so pleased that you understand it.
I’m failing to understand that because of an incident in Turkey last night that there will be a vast amount of extra red and yellow cards issued in England this week, I’m also failing to understand that because of that incident one of our players will get more red and yellow cards costing us promotion.

Can’t see how what happened in Turkey will effect anything in the UK. Unless I’m missing something?

Apart from that incident involving di Canio when did you last see a British official struck?

Bit of a difference yelling FFS Ref! and decking him with a right hook!

Former Iron David Prutton shoved over a lino when playing for Southampton.

It happens quite a bit at amateur levels, fortunately we’ve yet to see it at professional & semi-pro levels. The entitlement of fans, particularly at the higher levels, about refereeing decisions is completely ludicrous. Everyone things refs are against them, everyone thinks there’s a conspiracy, everyone thinks that they are justified in haranguing referees. You see/hear it less at our level but it’s still there.
