Tonight’s results pretty much went our way and I’m happy that we are still in fourth place.

It’ll be interesting to see what we get on Saturday!

Will the boys put a shift in knowing that it’ll keep them in the mix or will it be a shit show to compound their apparent derision of Stan?

How far in to the doggy doo will the players slip in what may be their ‘quest’ to see Stan evicted from his office?

If the players are trying to the best of their abilities and dripping in blood, sweat and tears in the execution of their duties… and we still continue to slide down the table – well, then we are worse than any of us fear!

These soft ball James Moody interviews are getting very tedious , no real questions asked with easy replies / answers offered by the interviewer, alas doesnt really matter as all the opponents are tough , done our homework and trained well …more clean sheet strategy nonsense.

I like this idea that you want a club channel to kick Andy Butler.
Our fans are ridiculous ,let’s face it.
Radio Humberside , ask Butler question which he answers ,”soft ball” ,what do you want ? Mike White knocking him out after spewing the bile into his face that he reads on here by people who are not with the players every day that think they know everything about them ?
I remember the same clowns saying the same thing about Bru and Swann or the trust and Swann.Had they just gone in and slagged him off they’d have got no answers for them to dislike and the Trust’s decision to not openly criticise Swann while working with him to try find a way forward ended up in SUFC still having a ground .I know for a fact the deal was faltering and it was the trust chairman, I believe, who actually called up Peter Swann, who felt he’d given us enough time due to Davey many Names BS, and convinced him to give the new regime necessary time to get a deal together .So when you want people to go in hard to satisfy your blood lust just be careful what you wish for.
If Butler fails he’ll no doubt be gone in the summer, you can then masturbate over his career corpse all you like or spend time telling the world how right you were while being obnoxious and spilling your beer all over the terraces of a non league ground

easy reply … the club interviews with AB are just repetitive and would be best not done at all .. EVERY WEEK the same sound bites with the only relevant info is whose currently fit and whose injured.

I want AB to succeed most certainly not kicked and there are far more enticing subject matter to masturbate over in my neck of the woods.

I do agree re the fans that are taking advantage of the booze at these lower league venues, far too many seem to be totally wasted which is just a recipe for trouble and getting the club a bad name.

I can imagine the flak if the club’s media team didn’t release any interviews with the manager at all. In any case, it is useful for supporters to know the injury situation. Anything else he says can be conveniently ignored if you’re not interested. Expecting James to ask him tough questions is unreasonable. That’s for objective journalists. Whether supporters like the content or not, the objective is to promote the game and club, not kick it around.

AB’s interviews are no different to any other manager we have had in the past, or managers in general for that matter. They go down a familiar path most of the time because there is only so much to say without causing consternation or disquiet with the fanbase or media, it is what it is. Managers won’t slag off players or their own tactics just because some fans are frustrated with the teams current form, don’t confuse the Premiership managers interviews with the majority of other clubs, they are a different animal operating in a more cut throat environment based on loads of money, we are what we are, AB is what he is, just hope he turns things around or he will eventually go.

The questions really don’t make much difference. Butler doesn’t answer Ollie’s more interesting questions directly. Just bats them off with same old platitudes with an extra dash of techyness as the poor performances mount up.

No injuries apart from Williams. Not his long standing fragility though – he just slipped in the mud.

We’ve trained well and rested at the same time. We have worked on a number of things but can’t say what as Marine might be listening. Despite their record suggesting they are fairly poor they are a good, strong side and it will be a tough game.

Looks like usual game plan. Try and get a clean sheet and hope for Roberts magic or defensive howler to nick it. Whatever possessed me to buy a ticket?
