Bit surprised to see Southend let him go – 28 years old, energetic and knows the league. Krystian Pearce from Mansfield also free agent. I know it’s easy to hark back to Players we’ve seen but both would be good shouts I would have thought?

I thought Mantom was a great signing for us but obviously he was never fit. 20 games a season over 2 years at Southend suggests the issues are still there.

Less money and smaller squads makes injury prone players risky as we are already seeing with Clarke.

McGahey has been back in training and Onariase won’t be too long. I’d rather have a RB in case Clarke never get’s back.
