Finally some optimism about the place yesterday and hopefully the start of a recovery for the club.

Initial allocation 750, be good to get those shifted this week and give the lads a decent backing at Mansfield!

Bit over the top there Cliff we only took 550 last time we were allowed to go there and that was a September game, maybe half your figure would be a good effort at the moment, I will be there though with 5 others. Nice ground with a nice bar in the main stand.

Only an Hour away with no other localish games in sight.

It’s more hope than expectation but 750 should be achievable.

Definitely should be a decent following. We sold out Harrogate didn’t we and that’s further away.

What do we charge away fans?

£23 is pretty steep but probably not far off most teams in this division I would guess.

I have only been to Mansfield once, I took my eldest son all the way from Brighton on the train. The ground was crap, we had no roof and it was raining. To cap the lot we were beaten 1 – 0. The only good thing was bumping into Darren and Andy, and joining SULSESC. Oh and a pint with some Cardiff fans in a pub near Euston Station. Happy days!

I am hoping that they have upgraded their ground by now. I visited Orient the same season and their ground only had three sides.

Won’t be there this Saturday but my reasonably recent favourite memory was our last promotion season from league two and another Paul Hayes return first game back. What an absolute belter of a first goal, must have been all of 30 yards out, first time strike top corner, where we were all assembled going ape shit. The bovril was crap though.

For the Bradford game at home they are charging £23 adult £16 and £7 for under 18s and under 12 free admission for 2 children, you can see why we won the gold family accreditation from the EFL. Well done swanny.

So the same price Mansfield are charging which you think is steep? Interesting.

God, what a brilliant moment that was. Probably the last game I really enjoyed watching the Iron. Absolutely magical.

Your obviously bit of a dim witt or very selfish ferrite if you can’t see the difference that scunny charge to what Mansfield do for children and under 18s. Do you really think that £52 for a adult and 2 kids ( goes up to £58 on the day ) is not a tad steep against scunnys £23. There hardly a family club unlike ours.

Just saw £23 for adults, didn’t dig into the kids’ costs.

Are ” they ” people who live in Brighton LK or just other teams fans? Anyway tell us it might be fun, you can use the *** in the appropriate places I’m sure we’ll get the drift.

Ok, so some opposition fans have been known to accuse Brighton fans of all being g**, or words to that effect.

Exactly TW and all football fans know Brian Clough was God and certainly not a Brighton fan, then he died of course. So much for that immortality bullshit.
