Hey Papa John, coconut!November 10, 2020 at 1:10 pm #197247Has there ever been a more pointless match?

Hey Papa John, coconut!sweet man sweet.
November 10, 2020 at 1:55 pm #197250Has there ever been a more pointless match?
Result might be meaningless but being able to give match time to players that need it is a great opportunity for us to prepare for Saturday. Another steady 30-40 minutes for KVV could set him up for a start against Oldham for instance.
November 10, 2020 at 2:03 pm #197251Brown, KVV and Fella are obviously in desperate need of match time. It would be great if McGahey and our club captain could get some minutes as well.
In fact the whole squad is currently undertrained at the moment.
Given it is the last chance of a meaningless match this season it could hardly be timed better.
November 10, 2020 at 3:45 pm #197258Essentially a reserve team fixture then? That makes more sense.
November 10, 2020 at 4:21 pm #197260Wish it was a reserve fixture Ferrite. It wouldn’t be live streamed and I wouldn’t be able to waste another 2 hours of my life watching in the vain hope of something good happening.
November 10, 2020 at 4:24 pm #197262I am not watching it, will watch Crusaders v Coleraine in the Irish League, at least there will be something at stake.
November 10, 2020 at 5:47 pm #197266I think it’s quite an important match in more ways than one, we desperately need a win to boost confidence. At the very least a good performance and maybe a clean sheet!
November 10, 2020 at 5:55 pm #197267I would take the win over a good performance or clean sheet.
November 10, 2020 at 7:25 pm #197270Worth £10,000 for a win,so after the £5,600 we got on Sunday the money will be a little help IF we win.
November 10, 2020 at 7:51 pm #197271A bloody big IF now.
November 10, 2020 at 7:56 pm #197273So we are playing 4-4-2 which is good, but the players are all over the place. Kvv been searching for the ball in midfield. Hippolite and dales are on the wrong sides of the pitch, no idea what cox is thinking there. The usual players at fault for goals, cordner no challenge again and where was hippolite heading that ball, surely he must head it out for a corner. The way things are going we are not going to see another victory this season, never mind this year
November 10, 2020 at 8:53 pm #197276Any statto’s out there know the last time we lost 8 on the bounce??
November 10, 2020 at 9:02 pm #197279Two inexperienced CMs, two inexperienced FBs.
Cordner with zero confidence.Totally ordinary team performance with exception of Fela’s goal and Onariase’s domination at CB.
There will be about 8 different players starting on Saturday.
I’m predicting that a corner will be turned and we shan’t lose.November 10, 2020 at 9:05 pm #197280Didn’t we lose 8 games on the trot during the first period of Laws?
November 10, 2020 at 9:08 pm #197281Just had a look, we lost 8 league games on the bounce under Laws in 97/98…so could be worse!
November 10, 2020 at 9:30 pm #197283It could be worse BLT but we may still match or beat that record in the coming league games. Defensively as a unit we are truly shocking and that has got to improve or we all know the outcome.
November 10, 2020 at 9:46 pm #197287Laws we won some cup games in between. Worst run in history in all comps was broken tonight
November 10, 2020 at 10:56 pm #197292Getting beyond a joke now, feel a real thumping for us at oldham
November 11, 2020 at 4:29 am #197305Saturday.
Howard
Rowe Brown
Onariase BedeauGilliead Taylor Spence Green
McAtee KVV.
The side is starting to look a lot better.
Add Eisa, Clarke & McGahey and there are many positives. The absence of a gutsy leader in CM remains the biggest single weakness.
November 11, 2020 at 11:06 am #197328When will Eisa, Clarke and McGahey make another appearance though Les? My betting says it won’t be this year!
November 11, 2020 at 4:32 pm #197347You are almost certainly right about the club skipper.
November 11, 2020 at 4:36 pm #197348What, no place for Hallam? He’s the only one looking to attack on recent form.
