To watch – not a chance. Even as a 12th Man I stopped watching many weeks ago.

Even despite Mr Cox’s comments after the Morecambe game ! That could have been on any of the 41 games and the common denominator is whoever picks the team, formation and tactics. Now we lose Jordan Clarke who has only just returned from injury, and how many times has that happened this season.

McGahey, Taft, Onoriase they may pass fitness tests but in combat pressures are much higher and then they are out again, and again. And when you look at goals conceded it is not all their fault. Midfielders do not chase back and help. Check that last goal by Forest Green – look at McGahey and Tafts face, they don’t know where to cover next. They get no help.

Tonight I am expecting some surprises in selection especially on the bench. I will say what I think after team sheet released.

Tonight 442, side passes virtually non-existent and on the front foot at EVERY opportunity. Time for the coaching text book we use to be binned and that black folder in the dugout to be shredded and never to reappear.

    side passes virtually non-existent

Now there’s an idea. Forward passes only! A sort of reverse rugby.

Which is fine if you have forwards with strength and a good first touch or pacy wingers who can run onto a through ball.

And you have to know when to make that forward pass, which involves players moving off the ball.

Nothing wrong with side passes if they create space and drag opponents out of position. Better than giving away possession.

“It’s not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It’s the hope I can’t stand.” ~ John Cleese as Brian Stimpson, Clockwise

My feelings exactly. With an iFollow season-long subscription, I can’t even spend the £10 on something else, so I will be watching… and hoping.

I’ll make my mind up when the team is announced, Radio Humberside looking like favourite at the moment though.

if we had a team of Premier standard we would still play backs to the wall negative football.

“if we had a team of Premier standard we would still play backs to the wall negative football”.

It doesn’t work there either Mick. Mourinho has been sacked four times now.

If we could get the win tonight to make us safe, all the players that have had their contract extensions taken off the table already should not kick another ball for us if possible this season. Give the young kids a chance in the remaining games to see how they shape up. Mixing and matching with the players definitely staying would give the kids a good insight into what’s expected of them by stepping up and hopefully will breed confidence for next season.

Ironawe – can’t see many of our ‘development’ players being that interested. Don’t think that many have had an offer.

Well Sanfran whatever the future holds for our younger players, it’s nice to see young Dawson on the bench tonight. Let’s hope he gets a run out and does really well.

So many should have had a chance this season. A run of games is the least they deserved, but not us we pick the same who could not be bothered and now look at the mess !

For a club that stated this season we would be developing players I would hate to have seen a lack of interest !

We used to have a good reputation – now !!!

…. this is awful beyond compare, Eisa by his own ‘couldn’t give a shit attitude’ has excelled himself

    This isn’t professional football

It really is a chore trying to watch us play. Loft mid placing a 4 yard pass sums it up.

Thankfully the codheads and Southend are beyond useless to give us a reprieve this year.

This lot are a disgrace, many of them clearly don’t want to be here, Cox knows who they are and he needs to bin them for the last four games and publicly embarrass them by playing the youths. The Prawn must be seething having to pay wages to these wasters.

Tell him to clear off home and not come back.

When people were calling this our worst ever side I could not agree at the time.

Changed my mind – any team that manages to make Perch look like a footballer is just about as bad as it is possible to be.

I can understand the referee and Mansfield team coming off when the drone appeared but we could have stayed on given we are unable to get within 5 yards of anything in the air.

I feel sorry for the young players – playing alongside these wage thieves who don’t care is everything that’s wrong with football. They cannot learn off these people

Ha ha Perch with the second how ironic, mind you he scored a 30 yard cracker for us into the railway end during one night match. Such a shame we are wimping out the season, good job the Cods are getting thumped and Southend are also utter shite.💩😂

A shameful performance; minimum requirement is effort -which for the majority of the season has been there- however, for whatever reason, that has all but vanished.

It’s inexcusable and there’s no reason the majority of those leaving should play the remaining games.

Enough of the sound bites now Cox: Drop them

The demise of this club overseen by our owner is unbelievable… how on earth has it been allowed to get so bad??

We are all about the youth apparently yet with very little to play for we keep selecting players who won’t sign a contract for next year and will walk away from this club not giving a shit about it rather than blooding the best of the youngsters.

Cox is a shit manager and the majority of this squad should not be anywhere near the football league!

Does Cox know what he is doing.
    Shots on Target ZERO
10 goals conceded in last three games

    Quotes from Tom Newy –
KVV passenger, kicked the ball twice.
    Players just not good enough.

    MKI – Yes.
    Sackcloth and ashes time.
I do hereby humbly apologise for having defended this crew by stating that they are not the worst Iron team ever. Mea maxima culpa.

Gilliead – player of the season and by a margin. I wonder if he gets that lonely in real life?

Thanks, Tom. The word ‘pitiful’ epitomised it all. Your ‘woeful’ resonated with me.
The ‘garbage’ was right on the money.

All that mealy-mouthed crap we have so often had from RH is now history. Good innit?

If we have to put out juniors in preference to players shipping out – fine by me!

Another game where we were “looking for the 3 points” Difficult to achieve with no shots on target, not for the first time this season either!!
What’s unbelievable is that there are 2 teams in the division worse than our shower (although they’ve both beaten us)

Whether he keeps maintaining he has the club’s best interests at heart or not, or keeps telling us how much he has tried – Swann has well and truly ruined this club. Although we were punching above our weight looking for promotion to the Championship, the decline since then has been truly disgraceful.
