Says it all doesn’t it. Obviously SWANN is happy if we go out the football league.

That’s what it’s currently looking like. Cox clearly can’t even oversee a victory when we’re one nil up and on top against a poor side on the night.

Not sacking him is speaking volumes.

How many more examples of cluelessness does a chairman need to sack a manager ?

It reminds me of Paul Jewel at Derby 2007/08 season where if I remember correctly I think they managed to get something like 7points.

    Taxi for Cox.

And four of those seven were against Newcastle! 😂

Yes, a good OP. By this time next week Cox could officially be the worst manager of the Swann era.

Any idea what Rooks and Bradley’s stats are?

I said after the Harrogate humbling he’d get another ten games. I stand by that, we are nowhere near far enough in the shit for the master plan yet.

In one of his interviews PS suggested five games, with Sat being the fifth, so I think no points on sat and its bye bye Coxy. If we don’t improve and he stays another five games after Sat there would be outrage and further reductions in attendence, sat is last chance saloon I hope.

Compared to Nick Daws – Cox has had a shed load of games 67 compared to 10/15 for Daws

Once that gap starts and 3 or 4 clubs are in the bottom group it will be hard to get out of it. 5 – 10 more matches could be enough to end our league days – it is that serious.

He won’t sell – the ego says so.

If we go down, the Swan will pocket the parachute payments, bonus for him.

Getting players to gel takes time. You should be able to see the improvements. Bad habits should be getting less. Playing 10 at the back after 70 minutes is a gamble, which
These players are unable to do. I am sorry for Neil that he carnt see this. On paper the players are good enough , but for whatever reason they are not reaching there expectations. Is this Neil’s fault or the fact some lone players haven’t the passion and desire to succeed. If they want to play in a higher league then they have to work to achieve it. All top players have been in there position but have the mindset to achieve it. Scouts are always about, but
They are looking for the above. So players go out there and be proud of the shirt and make
It yours and stand out from the crowd.
Time is running out for the manager and players. I wouldnt be surprised if behind the scenes replacements are sort. Maybe they are in work at present and it’s just a matter of time. A professional footballer is a great lifestyle, don’t throw it away.

Oh for the heady days of Laws n Adkins and a squad with pride, passion and owners that really cared about the club and the fans… SUFC were the pride of Lincolnshire in those days , now a laughing stock.

NIGEL ADKINS had a 41.70% win rate while at Scunthorpe United.

Left under good terms, compensation agreed and of he went.

Win percentages are a very blunt way of judging a manager – they don’t take any account of context. A 40% win percentage for Cox in our current situation would be an incredible achievement whereas a 60% win percentage for Guardiola would be a disappointment.

But Cox hasn’t got 40% and the longer in stays in charge below 20% is imminent.
