November 12, 2022 at 7:32 pm #248541Agh all is clear now, didn’t realize that Maidstone hadn’t won a game in 12 attempts and not won since August, Nice touch there lads all is forgiven.
November 12, 2022 at 8:02 pm #248544Resigned to the NLN what a shower of shite Scunny are. Always were though to be fair.
November 12, 2022 at 9:34 pm #248549Tony Daws said we should have won 4-0.
November 12, 2022 at 9:51 pm #248551There is some crap on written on here , people that don’t have a clue about what’s happening. Go and support the team and get behind them , stop hiding behind the screen

November 13, 2022 at 12:13 am #248562Our once loved little club is now surely on its last legs, it is now owned by a guy that has no interest in it, and has taken us under his sole management, from the top of League1 into non-league football, and is heading into the second level of non-league football. The club has no owner that even bothers to attend any longer, it is operated by a management team that is clueless, the players are even sub standard for non-league and are once again fighting relegation once again (fighting is not the correct word) should have been facing.
I still think that my prediction that the club will be liquidated between Nov and Feb will sadly come true, I still await the annoncement that no more money will be put into the club, which has been drained of its funds and assets through seven years of mis-management, after 65 years of operation for us fans, 2,000 of which still attend for some reason or other, it certaily is not for entertainment or enjoyment.
November 13, 2022 at 2:57 am #248564Daws post match Hillest waffling is suggesting Scunny were hard done by ..a disallowed goal.and plenty of chances not taken , controlling the game bla bla bla
Maidstone had 4 shots n scored 2Daws isnt the guy fir the job never has been but sadly will.remain as no other option.
Until.swan sells we are fooked .. NLN a dead cert .. even more likely adim n oblivion

🤷♂️🙇♂️🤷♂️Latest Relegation Odds:
Scunny 1/2
Torquay 4/7
Gateshead 4/5
Maidstone EvsDorking 2/1
Yeovil 2/1Oldham 5/2
Scunthorpe at odds of 1/2 have an implied probability of relegation of 67%.
November 13, 2022 at 10:01 am #248573Thought Maidstone fans got behind their team all game And once they scored wow. Scunny fans gave it everything after half time more so after going 1-0 down no one can complain about the knobhead morons getting behind the team, Oldham at the moment are showing us there’s no golden ticket for swapping owners so let’s not be deluded but the sooner we get new owners in at least we can move on.
November 13, 2022 at 11:56 am #248585Who’s complaining about the ‘knobhead morons’?
November 13, 2022 at 1:31 pm #248595Tony Daws said we should have won 4-0.
I apologise to Tony, I was obviously at a different game to him, bad luck Iron. 🙄
November 13, 2022 at 1:49 pm #248596Daws wants us to play with a quick tempo so then why is our keeper hell-bent on slowing the game down. Does he get different instructions or what. We need a united committed team that’s plays for the shirt or we have totally had it. Ten wins minimum needed where the hell are they coming from. Next year there could be a remembrance Day for our once proud club.
November 13, 2022 at 1:58 pm #248599If they actually tried stringing some quick passes together going forward to create a tempo and therefore some space in which to operate, then maybe we could see a different outcome. We have a guy in midfield who is ex Championship and is supposed to be able to pass it for fun but he rarely gets the ball because it just gets lumped forward most of the time. Yes we need to mix things up sometimes but how many constructive passes do we actually come up with during ninety minutes? not many by my reckoning.
November 13, 2022 at 2:17 pm #248601What good would changing the manager do? it’s worked in the last few years, hasn’t it?
November 13, 2022 at 4:37 pm #248605I did say no one could Deerey but they are one of the same there’s not two groups.
November 13, 2022 at 5:10 pm #248607Tony Daws said we should have won 4-0.
From Kent Messenger Online:-
“Hakan Hayrettin said Scunthorpe boss Tony Daws was deluded after reading comments from his opposite number following Maidstone’s victory.”
I find it hard to disagree.
