With all the comings and goings I haven’t a clue who is still at the club and eligible to play. The only one I can be sure about is Campbell should start in goal. If he’s still up for it, Butler should play CB. The other 9 starters should probably be those with the least minutes played in the last 6 weeks ( although if fit I wouldn’t start Whitehall!). Anyone care to hazard a guess at the team?

On the bench: Ian Sharp, Ian Sharp, Ian Sharp, Ian Sharp, Ian Sharp.
March 24, 2025 at 2:03 pm #300459Heres my line up
Muzzy
Jamez Moody
Glyn Sparky Sparks
AB
Schoff
That tosspot Zanetti
Tracey pie lass in DRE catering kiosk
Danny “Iron Forge” Stamp
Jake the Peg
Roberts ………… the CEO not the playerMarch 24, 2025 at 2:15 pm #300463If Zanetti does a few lines up his hooter before KO he could win it on his own, just scream over modulated obscenities into a mic then kick the ball into the Cleethorpes empty net when their entire team collapses from deafness and nausea.
March 24, 2025 at 2:49 pm #300477Sure to start I reckon (if no injuries)
Campbell, Starbuck, Boyce, Williams, Fadera and Fishburn if anybody can find him.Maybe 45 mins for
Carlton, Evans, Kouogun, Kelly, Beestin & Beck.Hard to see how we can make a team without playing players that I’m sure AB would like to rest. Can we borrow Shrimpton, Law & Brogan for the evening?
March 25, 2025 at 7:14 pm #300633No Whitehall, but quite a strong lineup – which has me very nervous. A few of them lads should be in cotton wool until Saturday.
March 25, 2025 at 9:13 pm #3006383-2 to the Iron!

March 25, 2025 at 9:39 pm #300642Extra time is the worst outcome possible.
March 25, 2025 at 9:47 pm #3006432 saves from Campbell.

March 25, 2025 at 10:10 pm #300647Commentary kept breaking up for me.
Campbell had a bit of a mare but saved two penalties so we must have won.March 26, 2025 at 1:12 am #300649March 26, 2025 at 7:03 am #300659I see they are 7 points clear at the top of the Northern Premier League East Division and with a game in hand.
A number of our ex-young pros & apprentices with them.1 user thanked author for this post.
March 26, 2025 at 7:17 am #300660Some of our 2nd string are pretty poor, this is where we miss a good youth set up.Our centre backs are just awful Donkeys,it could be why Clunan plays so annoyingly deep?
March 26, 2025 at 7:40 am #300661Do he second string look poor through lack of game time maybe?
March 26, 2025 at 9:04 am #300672Not the best game but entertaining in patches and the clusters of first half goals was a hoot, as was the bizarre penalty shoot-out to conclude affairs. How many times has that happened in football history (I’ve never seen a team score 0 in a penalty shoot-out)? Nice to see a match played on a decent surface, one or two lacklustre performances, nothing to write home about – a pleasant enough nothing of a night.
March 26, 2025 at 11:36 am #300682The mistake from Abraham was ridiculous, especially as Starbuck played a perfectly hit back pass to him, but as he went to trap the ball he completely missed it. Boyce looked a bit shaky too.
Campbell pulled off some good saves.

Looks a decent enough keeper in all fairness. Great shot stopper.
March 26, 2025 at 12:05 pm #300688Close season will be interesting that is for sure.
Got to look at prospects who want an opportunity but keep a tighter grip on the budget. Perhaps some Cleethorpes lads attracted attention in the coming months.

A couple of them looked decent.
March 26, 2025 at 3:52 pm #300726We’ve already discarded most of them haven’t we?
March 26, 2025 at 4:24 pm #300744Always good to win a trophy no matter how minor it may be.
