24 league one appearances this season and 23 Championship appearances last season for Derby, must have something going for him. Probably more chance of a game here then Fewster I reckon, welcome young man and good luck.
Competition for Butterfield’s no 10 role ?
If he has had all this experience then why have they let him out on loan ?
Strange decision.
Especially when they’re a division lower than they were last season….
If he is not getting any game time at all then the National League (or lower) is the only option.
If he has already made a bunch of appearances in mens professional football then U-21 games aren’t going to help him.
Derby Fans were confused when it was announced because he burst on the scene last season and looked really promising in the championship and didn’t look out of place there.
Tailed off this season but according to Derby fans he’s way too talented for this level. Similar things were said about Fewster but Fewster never had 23 appearances at championship level. Quite a few of those were full starts and he had a few man of the match awards as well during those run of games so he definitely must have something about him.
Derby fans said he’s better than a few others that have made more appearances than him this season. Looking forward to see how he get’s on.
Beestin out of the frame for most of the remaining games … should be a more than adequate replacement. Whatever our survival chances … someone ain’t giving it up.
Hope he lasts longer than Fewster, still no confirmation he’s gone.
Looks promising and Jimmy’s choice it seems, although Derby’s not far from Ilkeston.
Rance for Pugh and Thompson for Shrimpton looks pretty logical.
At the death – you can’t beat experience. Odds on that Butterfield will play.
directly after the great performance n win against Wealdstone seems Jimmy may be tinkering with that winning line up … i hope whatever he does works out after all he gets paid to make those decisions.
Not whinging and pleased to se Mr Hilton is pushing right to the end to keep the club in the NL.
Thompson looks to be a real coup!
Message from a Derby fan says they were shocked at this loan. That we have done well.
He rates him very highly.
on tinernet been reading it appears Dean Rance was all set to sign for Maidstone then opted for Scunny…this Thompson lad looks promising.
