July 1, 2022 at 5:06 pm #239759July 1, 2022 at 5:34 pm #239761Wonder if it’s members of the ” Scunny Youth ” responsible for damaging the training pitch? Well at least Awaywego should know most of them, he’s mentioned them a few times in the past.
July 1, 2022 at 5:39 pm #239762Can’t wait. Is he going to tell us more about his conversation with the club chaplain? Sounds fascinating.
He’ll need to have it verified with BPG to make sure it’s the true gospel. None of this lukewarm CoE stuff! :-)
July 1, 2022 at 5:39 pm #239763“Today, Leanne Mayo has stepped down from the Chief Executive Officer role. Leanne is staying on as a director.”
WHY?
SUFC directors salary must be decent then! Shame the players salary isn’t as good as the off-field staff.

July 1, 2022 at 5:43 pm #239764That really puzzles me.

July 1, 2022 at 5:53 pm #239768Why no explanation about why she’s stepping down? Taking up an exciting new role elsewhere, time for a change, personal reasons, etc? Creates more speculation.

July 1, 2022 at 10:40 pm #239800Not really interesting unless they explain what she is taking up. What a wasted opportunity.

July 2, 2022 at 2:28 am #239816Sounds like Swann will be asking for good money to relinquish his chairman role. What a piss take !
Swann bought this club for £1 remember, yes he cleared debts but look how much he’s put us in.
In my opinion he should do the right thing and piss off. The club clearly can’t mean that much to him because if it did he’d move it on to anybody who’s half decent and get gone.
What makes me laugh is the fact that Swann wants potential owners to fulfil certain criteria’s and yet look at all the shite he’s done.
Swann will now run the rule over interested parties and see if he deems them fit and worthy lol
What a joke !
We definitely picked a winner in Swann.

Topics: 11Do we need a CEO if we have a COO? Are both needed or is one or the other sufficient?

July 2, 2022 at 12:44 pm #239841The current policy seems to focus on getting off-field posts filled rather than on-field.
July 2, 2022 at 1:04 pm #239842You don’t need a CEO or COO if its run as a successful hobby rather than a professional train wreck. They’re just titles they mean nothing if the people filling them are mouthpieces – would the current CEO outgoing COO get a similar job outside of this shitshow? No.
The club needs a leader, it has none.

July 2, 2022 at 1:24 pm #239843As it’s being run as a professional train wreck we just need a couple of CHOO CHOO’S.

Dear Mr Choo…
Choo Chong Ngen – Singaporean worth €2.3Bn
We just need a Choo or boot for the other foot now.
Choo Choo – full steam ahead.
What about a Dear Santa letter to one of these guys.
Stranger things happen.

July 2, 2022 at 2:22 pm #239852I like Lee but why can’t he just answer questions without waffling how much it hurt to get relegated. I have heard him repeat that many times now and then he then moves onto the ‘we need fans to come back’. I have bought my ticket but if anyone asked me why i probably couldn’t tell as Lee and the rest of them have done absolutely nothing to encourage any fan to buy a season ticket!
The problem with the club at the moment is there is nobody there that will give the fans an honest answer about anything and the only real answers any fans want to know is how much is Mr Swann wanting to sell the club and is there anyone willing to pay it. If there isnt then he needs to drop his price and get gone.4 users thanked author for this post.

July 3, 2022 at 1:44 pm #239930The EGO who wanted to play Football Club Owner controls everything even now.
Says he wants to sell it but does he ? The ego may be scared that the club could be a success if someone else runs it. Although not difficult, just get the fans involved again and really engage and club will be on the rise.
